It was a great experience. He is very honest. I've used in the past.

Our refrigerator was not working, I thought the seal on the refrigerator door was bad. He cleaned the underneath, including the coils. He said the seal was ok, just because it was not cold yet (the door had been left open), it wasn't sealing.
He was professional and courteous, worked quickly and charged a very reasonable fee!

My LG washer stopped working this morning. I immediately jumped on Angie's List, found Alex and called right away...about 8:15am.
He was here by 9:30 and all finished by 11:15am. He knew right away what to fix and had the part in his truck.
He was super efficient and gave me great advice on how to keep this from happening again, plus answered my questions about other appliances. As an added bonus it was less than what we expected to pay!
I am thrilled to have my washer back up and running so quickly......with two boys in the house I use it every day!
I hope I don't need Alex's services for a while but I so thankful to know who to call if I do!

Our Amana top load washer started making a screeching noise (clearly bearing problem). In addition, our dryer was not working well. Not being a member of Angie's List, I checked the yellow pages in the phone book, and the ad for this contractor appealed to me (21+ yrs experience, no travel charge with repair, plus 10%-off coupon in phone book). I called and described the problem. Alex said it would be a simple repair, less than $250. I then remembered about Angie's List and decided to join. I checked out Large Appliance repair shops in the list and found only one close by. His estimate was not appealing, so I decided to take a chance with Best Appliance Service. Alex said he would be here the same afternoon and arrived on time. He turned on the washer and immediately confirmed a bearing part failure. He called a supply company to get a quote for a replacement part and then gave me a price for the job, which I accepted. He looked at th dryer, verified that the gas furnce therein was working properly and said the problem was a clogged vent line. He opened the lower dryer access panel and showed me a large accumulation of lint due to the vent clog. he recommended that he disassemble the dryer and clean it thoroughly. I accepted. He said he'd try to get back the next morning (Saturday) with the washer part, or Monday if not. He returned Sat morning and, with amazing efficiency, quickly opened the washer front panel, pulled out a sub-assembly, removed the failed part, and replaced it with the new one. After re-assembling the washing machine quickly, he demonstrated its proper operation. Then he quickly took apart the dryer cleaned out all the lint, and re-assembled the dryer. He demonstrated that it was working and reminded me about the vent cleaning, which I had done later that day. When the vent was unclogged, the dryer worked well. Alex demonstrated a good combination of professionalism and friendliness. He was clearly experienced and wasted no time getting the work done. The cost was fair, and the coupon discount was a nice bonus. I recommend this company highly.
