My home inspections are very detailed item per item. After an initial inspection by myself. I go over everything with the customer and I provide a clean computer generated report. I have been working on residential homes sense 1972. This was the first year I turned in a W-2 working with my family that included 5 master plumbers. A complete home inspection covers more and is the least expensive service in Real Estate. The Real Estate Industry is forever changing and so is new home construction. I have the advantage of working on homes for 40 years and this helps a great deal on existing homes. Call me anytime, set up an appointment, I have a turn around time of 24hrs on most properties. I will work Saturdays. At the present time I accept cash, money order and credit cards through PayPal. If you buy or sell on Ebay you have a Paypal account. I can invoice you through Paypal. I can put you in touch with Professional Termite Services for a WDI inspection. This just means a termite report. Your lender will require one. First thing I want to say is Jerry Summerlin was very professional, he arrived on time. Before we met he described exactly what was going to take place on the day of the inspection. Therefore I was fully aware of what was going to take place in our meeting. After he did the initial inspection he spent couple of hours going over every bit of the house talking about the good and bad. He also supplied a comprehensive report with pictures that I could submit to the contractor to make repairs and adjustments to the house. This was a brand-new house and I was surprised on all the things I would've missed if I did not have a professional inspector go over the house. I would highly recommend Jerry for old and new construction.

On the first home that I was considering purchasing I had Jerry do a walkthrough inspection with me. He quoted me a reasonable price for about an hour and a half walkthrough. I found this inspection to be well worth the price because I was able to give a more accurate offer on the home. He offered to return to give a more detailed inspection with a report for a lesser rate because I used him on the walkthrough.  The second time I used Jerry's services was when I signed a contract on a foreclosed home. This was a large home that had not been lived in for quite a while. Jerry performed a detailed inspection even though not all the utlilities were in service and offered to return at no charge when the gas was serviced.  He is professional, on time, and very knowledgeable about all aspects of home inspection.

It went smooth overall but now I am discovering there were a lot of things that they did not find when they did their inspection. There was some electrical wiring in the attic that other people saw and  brought to my attention and was in plain sight. Texas Star Home Inspections did not mention it to me or note it in any report. That is a little bit worrisome that someone who is not an inspector is finding stuff that they should of found.
