Jason, at the store, was outstanding. Explained everything about mattress along with the stores return policy. Was very patient in matching what would best fit our needs. Didn't try to and quot;overselland quot; us something we didn't need. Delivery was punctual and professional.

We had done a fair amount of on line research, and quite frankly, I wasn't looking forward to the experience. The mtatress market in very competitive, and while there are many options to choose from, the decision process is quite overwhelming. Trying to make a decision simply by laying on a matress for 5-10 minutes in a open showroom is difficult. Do your homework and be prepared to take as much time as needed, which will take at least a full day, at a minimum. With that said . . . we had a great experience at the Sleep Expert store on North Tarrant Parkway in Keller. We had been to Matress Firm, which also has a large selection, and both stores carry a number of similar products, but offer a few other options. What made the difference for us was a combination of factors. First, the atrmosphere in Sleep Experts is much more refined. You may not care, but the colors appointments, lighting and fixtures and layout was far better in Sleep Experts. They also divide thier store into sections with half walls, which makes the experience much more pleasant and gives you some level of seperation from everyone else in the store. Lets face it, laying around on matresses with other people milling around and watching you is a little uncomfortable. The half walls just made it a better looks and feel. After entering the store, and experiencing the better climate, we were greeted by the store manager, Jason Hoffman. Mr Hoffman is very simply an excellent salesperson. He is friendly, professional, knowledgeable, and is very interested in your satisfaction. Jason helped us quickly identify the categories of matresses we would be interested in and then skillfully quided us to the specific products that satisfied our criteria. He demonstrated superior knowledge of the products, cut past all the hype and flowery product names, to get to the real issues in purchasing a mattress. He also had us lay down on the different products and helped us to understand how the matress works with our body to create a healthy sleep experience. Jason helped us move to a a good decision without pressure or games. Finally, Sleep Experts was literally 20% cheaper ($400) for the same product, and when you threw in all the other differences(e.g. free premium pillow, king for queen price, etc) , it was over $500 cheaper. Both Sleep Expert and Matress Firm offer a one year exchange policy that allows you to swap out your mattress within a year of purchase for a different item if you find your purchase unsatisfactory. This takes a lot of the pressure off the whole decision. Be aware that there is a pickup fee if you have them pickup the first purchse when exchanging them. But a good mattress easily will cost you serious money, usually starting around $800 for a basic product, and going up into the $12,000+ range. However, you can find some very good products in the $1500 to $3000 range, and a lot of variety. But don't ever pay retail. This is an industry that offers regular sales and you can negotiate. With all that said, the Sleep Expert experience was superior in all aspects. We left the store quite satisfied with our purchase and experience. Anytime you drop $2K on anything, you will feel it. So to have a great atmosphere, a good selection of products, a great sales person, and an excellent price, it took away any buyers remorse. BTW, they will deliver the bed within 3 hours, unless you buy late in the day, and if they don't deliver on time, you don't pay for the service. But that is Sleep Expert country wide policy. Store manager Jason Hoffman was the difference and I would recommend this particular store based on that alone.
