Last job not completed due to no response from Pool Resources, obtained new pool service company.
Description of Work
Jason Manquist provided me pool service for a number of years and for the most part was very good at what he did. When I first used him he was just starting his own business and I used him as much as I could to support him. I referred thousands of dollars of business to him. As his business grew, he became very unreliable at returning calls, emails and was slightly to very late on his promised appointments. In my estimation my business became insignificant for him and thus he just quit responding. He never told me he did not want my business, instead, he made an appointment with me for a simple filter clean which he had done many times. When the filter was not done, I contacted him and he admitted he had forgotten to put me on his appointment list. So he made another appointment that he did not keep. 3 days later I texted him to see if he had done my filter clean and he never responded. I called his voice mail, multiple times the answering machine said voice mail was full. I emailed him to tell him that fact and he never responded. So, my conclusion is he will be very dependable and return calls if the "price is right", if you are looking to establish a long time relationship with a pool service company for routine maintenance, dont' call Jason Manquist at Pool Resources.

My wife and I bought a foreclosure home that had a pool. We called Jason with Pools Resources through a friend referral to give us a bid with 3 other companies. Jason's bid was in the middle but it was the most comprehensive of all the bids noting all the issues pertaining to the pool. The project ranged from all new equipment (removed by previous owner cut off at the ground) to tile coping and plaster. Jason scheduled his crews to renovate the pool for tile, coping and plaster. They were done in 2 weeks with quality results and he had the equipment installed in 2 days with water filling up the pool. When he turned that pool on and walked away everything worked the first time and we have really enjoyed our pool. The neighbors are also impressed with the transformation. Since the renovation Jason's service employees have taken care of the weekly maintenance for our pool. Next year we are going to save for a cover. It is comforting to know that there are still companies out there that will do what they say they are going to do and the results exceed your expectations.
