We didn't find them on Angie's List. We have only been members of Angie's List for a couple of years. We found them right after we got our dog about 3 and a half years ago. The last time we were there we paid $187, our dog had an ear infection. The cost included the medicine and everything. There are no charges for follow up visits. When he saw him and he had a problem, the follow up visits were free. They treat the pests and their owners with a great deal of respect and they truly care about your pet.

The staff was cheerful and friendly upon our arrival. We were immediately escorted to a room and given a form about both myself and my babies. The ladies who took their vitals and than took them to have their blood drawn were great. Dr James ( Dr James Scheifley), was how he introduced himself. He was wonderful with my babies. Tobie, who is very sweet, chose to be totally uncooperative with his vaccinations. So Dr James moved onto Jade, to allow Tobie to relax. Jade was a champ with the exam and the vaccinations. Dr James than took a different approach with Tobie and this time he was successful. He was both patient and kind with my babies.
I was looking for a vet who owned the practice and had great ratings on Angie's List. I grew up in rural NY and had a vet who owned a small practice. We saw HIM every time and he knew us and our pets. I never saw the same vet at some of the other clinics that we frequented.
I will say that I had to travel from Benbrook to Keller, through all of that irritating road construction. However it was worth the trip. Dr James and his staff exceeded my expectations. Dr James sent a great deal of time with us, and discussed some questions about my other babies (that he has not seen, YET). I can not say enough about both Dr James and his staff.....they are great, and reasonably priced. I was surprised about the cost of having the babies spaded and neutered, in a good way. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND NORTH TEXAS, DR JAMES AND HIS STAFF.

I was referred to this vet by two families in my neighborhood. I just moved here in July 2013 and have been searching for a local vet (my previous vet moved away). I was very pleased with the staff who was welcoming and so sweet to my girls. Dr. James is also very loving and kind to them. Since this was our first visit he performed a general comprehensive exam and took time to offer detailed suggestions for a general health regimen for overall long term care (since they are getting a little older..both are 7 years). The clinic is very clean. I was very pleased with the entire experience and I am so relieved now to have a local vet to help me care for my Millie and Gracie.

We first went to NTVC for our 6wk puppy who needed his shots and puppy exam. They had a puppy package for 250 that includes all the shots and the visits to get the shots. Then a week later our puppy decides to fall off the stairs from the second floor and ends up breaking his little paw. Of course I was so worried for my pup I called to see if they could squeeze us in to see the vet, and they where able to give us an appointment in an hour! My poor baby was so scared and hurt from the fall but he seemed fine and at ease with the vet and his assistants. I was kinda worried that this visit was going to break the bank but for $200 i found it fair considering they did take X-rays and gave us pain medication to give him. i love this place for my puppy and I plan to keep them as my pets vet.

I adopted my new puppy from a shelter and took her to Dr. James for a routine check and vaccines because he provided a free first visit through the shelter. He is a kind and compassionate vet! Shortly thereafter, she came down with a very serious intestinal parasite, which is fairly common with shelter dogs. She had to be hospitalized for several days for treatment. Dr. James and his staff took such excellent care of her!! He watched her carefully and acted quickly when her fever spiked and she took a turn for the worse. He kept me posted with phone calls about her condition - I never had to call them - he called me! I was impressed with the communication and the treatment! She recovered completely and I credit North Texas Vet Clinic and Dr. James with saving her life. After all of that, I found his fees for treatment to be the most reasonable I have seen from a vet in a very long time! I am a huge fan of this clinic!

They're a terrific veterinarian. They care for the animals and their customers as well. Dr. James is terrific. He's a great vet with the animals and all of the people working there are all terrific. They're easy to deal with. My dog just went on a surgery and they're terrific in helping me understand on what I needed to do to rehab my dog. The price that they charge was very reasonable and they do the best job that they possible can. Overall they're just a wonderful vet. I would recommend them highly.
