KNIPP HOME EXTERIORS

This is the fourth or fifth time I've used Knipp Home Exteriors for work; John has replaced all the windows in the house,done some exterior repair, replaced all the gutters and put screens on them, some other things I can't remember offhand and now replaced the sliding glass doors.
John always responds to calls in a timely manner.  He came out, took measurements, discussed options with me, told me about his sub-contractors for installation and called me back with a quote within a couple of days.  Two weeks later he told me the doors were ready and to expect to hear from his installation guys.
His subs came when they said they would and did a great job.  Zero creepy factor; two nice guys who were pleasant, personable and professional.  The doors were installed - including an unexpected repair of some old termite damage in the door framing.  No complaints, no attempts to increase the price, just part of the job, ma'am.   They cleaned up very carefully, took the old doors with them and everything looked like it did when they arrived except I had beautiful new sliding glass doors.  Carefully cleaned sliding glass doors.  :)
One of the best things is the perfectionism of John and all his subcontractors.   John does things right and so do his subs or they don't work for him for long.  I'm a perfectionist, too, and there are no issues with that - John's expectations are as high as mine.  This job cost exactly what I was quoted but on two occasions the job actually cost less than the quote.  How often do you experience that?  I can't say enough good things about Knipp Home Exteriors.

He is great to work with. He is very conscientious and on time for the appointment.s He was able to get the roof done in almost 3 days and he cleans up well after himself. The results are great so far.

This is the second job Knipp Home Exteriors has done for me. Prices are very reasonable and work is done promptly and correctly. John does have subcontractors do some work but he comes out and supervises. He is extremely critical of his sub-contactors work and makes sure that all work is done to his specifications. The thing I appreciate most is that the work is done as if it were John's own home. If I can't have Mike Holmes, I want John Knipp.

It was a very good experience and I think he was working as a contractor on these projects. I think he was competitive and worked with our insurance company by helping to submit the claim to the insurance company for hail damage. I think he did a very good job by being there when he said he would be. His customer service skills were very good.

John Knipp is a very competent roofer and siding expert. He has a crew who knows what to do to have a great finished job. His crew not only does a great job of painting, but can repair places that have rotted or had termite or carpenter ant damage. After getting to know John, I found he came from a family of roofers and his father started back in the 40's so he knows what he is doing when it comes to roofing and siding. He is upfront, very professional and checks all the little details. He also did my roof about three years ago and replaced masonite with HardiBoard on my sun room. I highly recommend him for all your roofing and siding needs.

John Knipp was recommended to me by a friend at church. She described him as a "true and honest professional." She is exactly right. He calls you back when he says he will, comes when he says he going to and does an excellent job with a craftsman's attention to detail. As we are getting ready to sell our house, extra information he provided about other areas of our house were invaluable. You cannot tell anything was ever wrong on our roof! And all done at a fair price.If you have any exterior work that needs to be done, you need to consider Knipp Home Exteriors.

The painting and siding were done just prior to Christmas, and the roofing was done about four months prior to that. The job went very well. The quality of the work was very good. They were very punctual and very reasonably priced. They also contracted some work for me for tub removal, shower, and tile. They did that after they did the roofing. They are very careful about who they contract with. They are excellent professional people. They made sure to pick up any nails from the roofing project. Everything was cleaned up very well. The main person himself came over and policed the area around the house to make sure that everything was picked up. If at all anything wasn't he made sure that he picked it up himself. I was pleasantly surprised by that. I have nothing but kudos for him. It was all excellent.
