Howze Plumbing

I just got taken for $75 within 10 minutes. Had a plumber from Houwze came out to my house this morning to look at an area of water leak in my front yard. The plumber asked me about how deep the pipe/valve where I observed the water was leaking from when I dug up the area before. I told him about 2 feet deep because I could reached down to it with my arm. He then quoted me $650+ (so shocked that I don’t remember the exact amount) for a 2 hours digging job…that’s $325+ per hour to dig a hole in the ground. That’s on top of the $75 dispatch fee. So that was going to be at least $700 for a plumber come to my house and dig a hold before finding the problem or fixing the leak. I told the plumber that I appreciate how responsive the company is but declined the service due the outrageous fee. Within 10 minutes of his arrival, he went back into the truck to take out an iPad and charged me $75 for dispatch fee. I know that plumping work can be expensive, but to charge $325+ per hour to dig up a hole is ridiculous! A lot of people don’t make that kind of money in a whole day of work.

Price quote was insane / outrageous / shocking. Paid the $75 dispatch fee and showed the techs the way out. "Flat rate" pricing to replace four residential under-sink shutoff valves and install two owner-supplied bathroom faucet sets came to $1,494.94. Called the office and was told the job was estimated at SIX hours. Two techs. Six hours. Maybe there was a hazardous weather surcharge included. Or a lunch break at Perry's. With valet parking.

It went great! With an old house, renovation is never easy. Extra custom was needed, however Howze Plumbing did not charge for the additional work. The job went well and I’m very pleased. Howze Plumbing is honest, punctual, professional and cleaned-up before they left. I will be using them again and consider Howze Plumbing my go to plumber!

Chesney and Jake were very professional and friendly. Great customer service! They communicated exactly what they were doing before starting and continued communication throughout the installation. The installation was completed in a timely manner. We would DEFINITELY have either or both of these plumbers back should we need a plumber in the future. Thanks guys!

They came out and gave us a bid and we went with them. When they completed the job, the gas company came and turned on the gas. A person from Howze Plumbing came back the next day to check if everything was ok and he found that there was a leak in the gas and he fixed it. I was very satisfied with their service as they saved our lives.

This was a comedy of errors. They didn't hook up the refrigerator line and didn't know that the bubble tub, which they installed, had to be plugged in to work. They did not do a very professional job and the serviceman was not very knowledgeable. The owner did not communicate with me at all.

I think their price was in line, he was out here for about 5 hours and it was a lot of work. Very pleasant people.
