Owner, manager, and founder of GOING GREEN Heating & Air, Audie Greenwood, has been a part of the heating, ventilation, and air conditioning industry for 10 years. He earned his certificates and degrees while working a full-time job to support his family of five. Though, it was a hard and tiring process, he succeeded and now has his own business doing what he loves every day. Did all the checks and some others not listed above. Then recommended the addition of R-22 coolant...which required about 2.5 pounds of coolant. The technician also thought the system might benefit by a fluid that would help prevent future R-22 leaks but I decided to wait to see how the system operated this summer...and check it again in the Fall. I also signed a service contract ...for a Spring and Fall service. Other comments: I went with this company because when the heat pump of an acquaintance of mine (who was a widow without much income) needed a new compressor, the man who owns this company went out of his way to help her fix her system and charged a much lower amount due to her circumstances. As a result of his charitable efforts and pricing, I was able to afford to help the widow fix her unit. Afterward, I decided to give this company the business to service the heating/AC at my own home.
Description of Work: Checked the central air conditioning systems. Checked Amp. draws on all loads, checked to make sure all wiring connections were tight, looked for pitting or burns, determined disconnect was secure, blower capacity good, evaporative coil clean but had some oil on the coil which indicated a possible leak, check R-22 pressure...which was a bit low.
