5 star did a excellent job on painting our home. We are very picky on the quality of work and the met those expectations. The painters were easy to work with and the Project manager was on site daily to insure the project and any concerns were met. The price was less than expected and the quality exceeded the high expectations we had. I would recommend using 5 star without hesitation

Best painting I have ever had in my home. Painted kitchen cabinets and 4 rooms and 2 hallways. Arrived early every morning, worked consistently throughout the day, and completed the entire job early! I am extremely satisfied with their work.

Do not use this company. We were told it was the type of wood our cabinets were made of. Then we were told you should not look at cabinets closer than three feet. Sold one expectation delivered another. Lots of overspray and no customer service from Management. Quite aggressive actually. If you want an expensive painted cabinet that you look at from 3 away these are your guys. Otherwise, look elsewhere.

"We always strive to make every homeowner happy. Unfortunately in this case it became clear that we would not be able to do so. We were contracted to paint the kitchen cabinets for the homeowner. The process we presented was our normal process we for painting cabinets. We covered everything in the kitchen, sanded, spray painted primer and top coats of very high end paint. Our normal practice and industry standard is 1 coat of primer and 2 top coats. In this case, we did 2 coats of primer and 3 top coats as the wood grain of the cabinets was very heavy. After the homeowner informed us he did not like the look and argued about the wood grain, we completed another top coat, essentially doing double the work quoted. At the end, a discount was requested multiple times and we informed him that we would not be giving one as we went above and beyond. This is where you see that he felt we were rude. No excuses were given, only explanations and we are sorry that it might have come across that way."

The paint ing crew they originally sent out did a terrible job. Sloppy workmanship and huge missed spots in every room. I called and expressed my dissatisfaction and they immediately sent out someone to access the situation. They agreed with my assessment and sent out a whole new crew the next day and completely repainted the house. Looks amazing! Thank you Five Star for standing behind your workmanship.

My experience with this company was disappointing to say the least! Run the other way use DFW Painting or Five Star Frisco. I was routed to the Wylie office which was sub-par.. Apparently the Sales person under bid to start, sold me on one coat Behr paint which required 2-3 coats which of course the sub-contracted painter was mad as he had to work longer to complete job. Also the team I was supposed to have was 1-guy who didn't speak very good English along with the Project Mgr who spoke poor English and was a hot head. Josh C. was impossible to deal with! They spilled grey blue paint on my carpet and the stain is still visible. Multiple places where the paint still didn't cover, drip lines and sloppy no-tape painting. Will NEVER give them my business again!!
