Fence King

The responsiveness of the company and installation crew were great and the fence looks fabulous. What brought it down to a B rating are some strengthening details suggested by Fence King around my 2 gate areas that were not initially done, but they they did come back and mostly addressed the issues. Beyond that they stated the 5 year warranty Is there if there are future issues.

My neighbor contracted with Fence King to replace our back fence. I paid half of the cost. The way the back yards connect in our neighborhood leaves about a 4-5 foot section that overlaps with the next yard. Fence King did a fine job on the bulk of the fence, but the connection between the old fence and new at the place of the yard overlap was poorly planned and poorly done. As a result, I am left with rough cut wood, cross supports that aren't level, and don't even match up with the old fence. They just used pieces of wood to fill the gap between the horizontal supports. In addition, they left the corner post, which was wood in the ground on the opposite side instead of replacing it with steel like the others. My neighbor and I both contacted Fence King, they did replace the post, but did nothing about the poor quality of work on the connecting side other than say they'll "stand behind the quality of the work the crew did." I was looking to have some additional work done, but it won't be done by Fence King as I have a level of expectation for quality work that does not match theirs.

We were out of town when we did all the arrangements with them, but only took a call and email to set up the service. They were here on the date and time scheduled, punctual, did a good job and so far is the cheapest fence provider that we have encounter that is insured and bonded.
