+ -1 moreI just left the bar on the patio and the B&R Installations people came in while I was gone and reinstalled it. It looks great!
Description of Work: In 2004, my parents had had an ultra lattice patio cover installed over their patio. It looks great and makes it much more enjoyable to sit on the patio during the Texas summers. The lattice cover itself is made of square aluminum hollow bars coated in some type of paint that doesn't chip or peel. It comes with a lifetime warranty so when I found that one of the bars had come off (probably because a tree limb pushed against it) I called the company (B&R Installations) and they came out and reinstalled the bar without charge. I can only say good things about this patio cover because it is essentially maintenance free other than periodically washing off the dust and tree dirt. For going on 9 years old, the cover and supporting beams look great and has held up well in the Texas wind and heat and is a pleasure to sit under. While not the original purchaser of the patio cover (as I said, my parent's purchased it) I was very happy that the company was so good about standing behind their work and reinstalling the bar.

+ 0 moreTheir work was pretty good. They didn't do great with the local permitting. They didn't really work with the local engineer to make sure it was inspected correctly. However, they did have a pre-engineered drawing that was used to get the permit. They had all the materials, but they didn't do much of the work to get the permits done. They were good about coming back out. They were good about fixing some leaks much later, after the drought. The price seemed reasonable.
