+ 3 moreAny house, any problems Austin roofing is your company. Long story short, I had a lot of people promise me this and that ? oh don?t worry about this and that, we will worry about that later. But I am the person that wants to know now! I want to know before you start. Put it in writing, everything!Well, George meet with me many times till I had all my questions and concern answered. Everything was in writing; all work added were to how I wanted them. Even more work was done, without a cost to me, he said that it would be better and it was? He wanted to be sure it was 100% right.. Period I had a great experience with Austin roofing But please understand about most contractors, they are busy and you are not the only person they deal with on a daily basis. They have current customers, potential customers, sub contractors, purchasing personal, insurances companies and a wife and kids. Be patient and understand that a call back maybe right away or in a few hours.
Description of Work: New roof, painted the whole house, new windows, new gutters, new skylights, new vents – so much it’s hard to keep up with it all. But George did, and he did a great job. I got to the point that I didn’t even have time to fight with the insurance company anymore, I allowed him to take over the battle for me. He would talk with me minutes after he would be off with the phone with my insurance company. Many times it would be hours if not days when the insurance company would finally call me and tell me the updates. Thanks George! Any house, any problems Austin roofing is your company.

Description of Work: I called this company to give us an estimate on replacing our roof/gutters/downspouts due to hail damage. Joe came out at the scheduled time, but didn't find it important to get up on the roof to look around, measure the roof or measure the gutters and the downspouts. He just sat down across from me with a visual presentation of pictures and told me to call him when I had the estimate from my insurance company with the numbers. I had two other companies come out to quote the job...all of which physically measured the roof/gutters/downspouts and got up on the roof to make sure they knew exactly what needed to be done. Good thing, since the insurance estimator missed some important info and was off on the measurements. Joe was scheduled to come back a second time once I received the insurance paperwork, however, I decided to cancel the appointment. I did send him an email when I canceled the appointment giving him the measurements provided by my insurance company and told him he could submit an estimate to me via email if he was still interested in bidding the job. I received no estimate and he still showed up for the appointment that I had canceled. I know he received my cancelation email because I had a return receipt. Joe left me a voicemail complaining about me not being available for our 2nd appointment commenting about the long drive from his office to my home. When I called Joe back, he said his brother told him about the email but must not have forwarded it to him.....whatever. This was a huge job that costs a lot of money. Seems to me that the contractor you decide to use should be a company that doesn't mind doing the legwork to get the job. I don't recommend calling Austin Roofing for anything.

+ -1 moreOur neighborhood was hit hard by a hail storm this spring. Every house in the neighborhood has been getting a new roof. Ours, and the other homes done by Austin roofing are hands down the best looking jobs in the neighborhood. They were able to schedule us right away and complete the work in a day. They covered the cost of our deductible and gave us free ridge line vents. They also pointed out damage to the property that other roofing contractors and our insurance adjuster had missed, and which our insurance company covered with a supplemental check. Our neighbor saw our roof and asked his contractor for the same thing... His roofer did not know how to install the ridge line vents and the difference is plainly visible from the street.
Description of Work: Tear off old shingles, replace with 30 year, ridge line vents.
