very fast fix.

Very well. I had attempted to have Microsoft fix my issue and they failed. Alliance had me up and running in less than an hour. They are professional, knowledgable, convenient and best of all local. I will be using them again for any of my future needs

A problem between my Microsoft Outlook and Yahoo! resulted in someone else's name being recognized by my system. In trying to remove that name myself I probably made things even worse because suddenly my computer would not recognize me!  I purchased this desktop computer from Alliance Computer and I have been very happy with the computer and with the service there. So I called Steve and he helped me do a System Restore. That was a start but most of my personal files were missing.  Fortunately, I subscribe to Carbonite and I was able to restore virtually all my personal files, but I was still having crazy system problems. That is when I decided to take it in to the Alliance Computer Services office.  I called first to make sure they were available. Bonnie told me to bring it in and they would take a look at it. I was fascinated with how quickly they were able to diagnose the issues and then make fixes.  Over the years I have used many computer repair services, from guys working out of their garage to the Geek Squad. In my opinion no one can compare with Steve and Bonnie at Alliance Computer Service.

I needed to have the cpu cooling fan replaced because the old one was very noisy whenever the computer was running.  I found Alliance Computer Services on Angieslist and was very impressed with the ratings and the type of service provided.  I sent an email to Alliance explaining the issue.  They responded to my email promptly and scheduled the work.  They notified me when the replacement part arrived and I drove to their location.  The work took just a few minutes and the result is wonderful.  Bonnie was careful to test the machine thoroughly to insure all was working properly.

Very professional, highly responsive, and convenient service.  Will recommend highly.

I've used Steve before. That's why I went to him again.

Steve and Bonnie Dektor are very knowledgeable in this field and were quite helpful to me.  My computer "crashed" and they were able to retrieve all of my documents, pictures, etc. and install them on the new computer they built for me.  I'm very unsophisticated in these matters so they were kind enough to also load security software I'd purchased for the new computer onto my laptop.  Whether you are extremely computer savvy, or a novice like me, Steve and Bonnie possess the skills to communicate with you at your level of experience.

My computer was repaired within 24 hrs. Steve spent an hour explaining everything to me and helping me with new tools. He also installed a tool to let him work on the computer remotely in the future. He was very professional and knowledgeable. This is the best computer repair experience I have ever had. I am delighted to have found this company and will definitely use them in the future and recommend them to anyone.

Everything went very well.  They built the computer overnight and I was able to pick it up the next day.  They explained everything I needed to know to set it up when I got home.  They had great suggestions for what they thought I really did and did not need.

He was very good. He was here for a couple of hours, since it was a lot of work. He was prompt, communicated well and it was a good service.

I think Bonnie and Steve are the greatest. I can't say enough good things about them. I'm lucky to have found the about 8 years ago. I highly recommend them without reservations.

They did a quick evaluation when I took it to their shop and determined that it likely had a problem in the processor chip. Kept it in order to run it for a longer period to make the final diagnosis. It was, indeed, the processor, making the computer unusable.
They said my hard drive was okay and offered to place it in a case that will allow me to get to the data files. I agreed and successfully  accessed the files.
I highly recommend them to others...great work and very knowledgeable.

Bonnie came to my house, set up computer with printer & internet service with new keyboard & mouse. She was very patient with explaining everything to me. She then took old tower & keyboard for recycling. I will definitely call them if I have any future needs.

Everything went extremely well. I was in a panic when my work laptop was stuck in recovery mode and I could not access anything. They said they could take a look at it as soon as I could get there. Everything was fixed in a little over 24 hours. They were great about answering all my questions and giving me advice on things I could do differently. They are incredibly knowledgable and helpful. I will definitely call them the next time I have issues. It could not have gone any smoother.

I worked primarily with Bonnie the 2nd partner in this GREAT 2 person shop.  I called Alliance because of the A rating in Angies list and I have to say I was not disapointed.  Bonnie gave me several options on repair and when all said and done, saved me about $200.00.  Also on top of great customer service and satisfaction, when I picked it up, Bonnie took the time to explain a lot of little quirks about internet security that I really knew nothing about (and the shop at that time was VERY busy.) I would -WILL use them again if ever needed and would HIGHLY recommend shop when there is computer issue.

Had some problems but all were resolved.
