I have a rental property that I originally had sided (vinyl) in 2001, since that time I have had ongoing problems with the large west facing second floor gable, this gable is about the size of square of siding. I have had it repaired several times, due to one or two pieces coming off. Then less than a year ago I had it (the gable end) completely replaced. With what turned out to be a less than reputable contractor. Less than a month after replacement 2 or 3 pieces blew off again. We repaired that, then with the next series of storms nearly half the gable end siding blew off again. I then decided to have it replaced by a reputable contractor (through Angies List). Enter Mr. Tom Dority, most contractors don't want to deal with a small job like this, he said that was no problem. He showed up when he said he would, gave a resonable quote, which was $1,000.00 less materials. We told him we would provide the siding, as we had purchased it several times in the past. We ordered the material and notified him when it was available on site. He worked us into his schedule promplty and completed the job. The following week a small tornado and three wind driven thunderstorms came through and for the first no siding came loose. I highly recomend Dority Remodeling. They were prompt, professional and did an excellent job. I would be confident using Dority for any remolding need.
