Jeanine listened to me and went through books with me until I came up with exactly what I wanted. She gave me a quote - and helped me save some money, as I was already bleeding money on my new house.... and then they were done in just over 2 weeks. Once they were installed I was blown away, they looked INCREDIBLE - even better than I could've imagined. I was thrilled. They weren't cheap - nothing custom is cheap - but they look WAY more expensive than what I paid. I am thrilled with them and with this provider. Jeanine was also able to refer me to someone who installed the drapes I'd ordered for my living room. She was just terrific.

Jeanine is very professional and service oriented. She has visited our home on multiple occasions to make 100% sure everything will be correct as we are currently in the process of remodeling. Her prices were the best by far out of 4 estimates we had received. She even installed temporary window coverings for us (it takes about 8 weeks to get shutters and we had our painters remove all of the previous drapery).

Mrs. Smith from Window Solutions said that she would have her husband do the measuring and installation, since he had more experience with that type of solar screen installation. There were a couple of delays in getting him to come and make the measurements and provide an estimate due to some thunderstorms and rain that we had during that week and he was behind on some other jobs. When Mr. Smith showed up, he was in a hurry and not in the best of humor. He completed the measurements and provided me with an estimate which I considered a bit high, but I decided to take it anyway, since I wanted the screens in as soon as possible. Mr. Smith said it would take a local company 7-10 days to fabricate the screens and they would call me when they were ready. The screens were ready in the time estimated and Mr. Smith and an assistant came out to install them. They did a good job, however, since one sliding glass door opened from the left and one from the right, they had to change the chain actuating mechanism on one screen to the opposite end. In doing that the outdoor sheet metal valence over the top of the screen had to be modified slightly to accommodate the switching ends for the chain mechanism, but they had the equipment to make the modification on their truck. I had wanted one of the screens to have tie-downs at the bottom when fully extended to prevent it from blowing in the wind, but they did not have the necessary eye bolts and clips to do that. Mr. Smith volunteered to go to a hardware store and pick up the necessary hardware and they returned in about 30 minutes and completed the job to my satisfaction. I appreciated that Mr. Smith took some extra time to acquire the necessary tie-down hardware and did it immediately rather than say that "they would come another day to complete the job." I would use this contractor again.

I found them on Angie's List. Jeanine Smith is the owner and I have always dealt directly with her. Jeanine is very personable, knowledgeable and really wants to do her best. And she did! She's very responsive and kept me informed. Everything was done as I had hoped. There was one minor issue and they fixed it no problem. Her pricing is fair. This is the way old-fashioned business used to be conducted: people do what they say, they're conscientious and the price is reasonable. I highly recommend Window Solutions of Houston!

ONE OF THE WINDOWS GAVE US TROUBLE. SHE SENT SOMEONE BACK OUT AND THEY WORKED FOR 2 HOURS. IT DIDN'T WORK, SO I CALLED HER TO ASK IF WE NEEDED TO HAVE THE FACTORY MAKE A NEW ONE. IT IS A THREE PANE WINDOW SO WE DECIDED TO HAVE THREE SHADES MADE INSTEAD OF THE ONE LARGE ONE. SHE DIDN'T CHARGE US TO HAVE THEM MADE OVER BECAUSE SHE FELT IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN DONE THIS WAY INITIALLY. SHE IS VERY PROFESSIONAL WHEN THERE IS A PROBLEM. SHE IS VERY RELIABLE AND COMES WHEN SHE SAYS SHE WILL BE THERE. SHE IS A REALLY GOOD PERSON.
