It has been an interesting journey to this point. Last year when I decided I needed a new web site with upgraded functions and using a word press platform instead of one that you can' work with I found the Nerd Blurb guys. I mistakenly found them through Fiverr while searching for other contacts to do work for me. It was the best mistake that has ever happened to me..LOL I contacted Jeremiah through Fiverr and asked what kind of work he performs then we spoke on the phone. At that time I knew I had found my man to do the work I needed. We began the web site from scratch the first of November 2011. It did take longer than I expected but much of the holdup was getting all of my shopping cart in place to accept credit cards etc. which was not the fault of the Nerd Blurb team. I had hundreds of product photos and descriptions that they incorporated into the site and also did a few other unique plug ins on Word Press in order to make my site function as I wanted.A web site, as I discovered is a never ending work in progress. There are items always to be added or deleted and the marketing is an ongoing process. I never thought that much about it until I realized when it was done that it is never really done. My point here is that when choosing a developer you want someone who will be there for you in case you need help. In recent months I have needed help and Jeremiah is always available to take your call and is anxious to help. I don't know that I have ever seen anyone so devoted to their work as Jeremiah. My journey continues as we are now in the marketing stages of the web site. My first mistake when creating my very first web site was not choosing a company where there was A+ support. Secondly, I chose a company that had their own platform to build on rather than using Word Press. This makes it practically impossible to market your web site or customize it,  as I later found out. Don't make the same mistakes as I did, it will only cost you money and time and you will get nothing in return. My advice.........choose the Nerd Blurb team for your web site work.

I have a website that is only being used for email now, and I was having lots of spam and spoofed emails come in.  I found The N*** Blurb on Angies List.  I wasn't going to need the bigger jobs they showed, such as entire website development, but I decided to ping them on my tiny needs. Besides, they have a GREAT tagline, "if a n*** doesn't know, no one knows."  Furthermore, the business turns out to be located not very far from me.  I'm in the Houston area and so are they.
I sent off an email to them on the weekend, and The N*** Blurb responded right away and also on the weekend. My initial email described my problem in most general terms, and when I reached The N*** Blurb by telephone, they were already researching my problem.
It would be a simple fix they said, and the charge would be in the range of $30 to $65. Acceptable.  However, as I grilled the two nerds I was on the phone with, Jeremiah the CEO and his partner Chris, a totally different solution came to the surface.
The solution was to use Gmail, because they pointed out that Google has been doing email for a long time. The Nerds described Gmail services in glowing terms, and they use it themselves.
You have to highly respect businessmen who spend time coming up with a fix to my own website, then recommend me to use some other service that's not theirs.  I will surely use them for any future nerdy needs.  And believe me, the world needs enthusiastic, proactive technologists like Jeremiah and Chris.  Thanks, guys!

The entire process, which was about a month long - starting with the Logo design, to the template decision making processes and all the way to the final touches on the website - every single step of the process, which you would consider a "typical" web process... Pick your logo, pick a layout you like and tell them how you want it designed... The only real let down is usually when you get your website, typically, and especially for me I should say, in the past this almost seems to be the case. Every other IT company we used before turning to The Nerd Blurb was border line a nightmare! So when we stumbled onto The Nerd Blurb and ended up getting to the final "step" - we still weren't 100% convinced..... It wasn't there fault really, we just had such a bad taste in our mouth from before, but I have to say, when they showed us our website - my fiance and I were both SPEECHLESS. well done The Nerd Blurb!
