Southern Voltage is a first class company. Jim is a master electrician and completed the work fast, with no mess and no hassle. Jim even made a recommendation to install USB outlets - totally awesome! Now I can charge phones, computers and anything running on a USB right from the outlet saving me from having tons of tangled cables everywhere!

Great wife and husband duo! They came out a week after the initial call but that's because Harvey had them super busy and our issue wasn't an emergency. It was two outdoor outlets that weren't working and therefore none of our landscape lights were working. He changed out the outlet and that fixed the problem and we are good to go! Their pricing is very fair.

Perfect. Southern Voltage was professional and was able to come to our home 2 days after the initial call. At the time we did not think a service call was urgent, but after Jim, the Master Electrician, opened the breaker panel, we found out how serious the problem was. He discovered a burnt breaker panel that needed to be replaced, which was hidden from view. The panel replacement was an all day job and he cleared his schedule to do this work correctly. The end result was "a work of art". During the diagnostics, Jim was safety focused and discovered a number of other serious electrical issues that needed to be addressed. For example, some of the original wiring configurations were clearly not correct. Jim also discovered some existing safety arc circuit breakers that were defeated (by-passed). He explained in simple layman's terms why these configurations were not correct and repaired them. One electrical problem we had ongoing since we purchased our home in 2010 was a Master bedroom arc breaker fault. Other electricians were called out over the years to troubleshoot this problem without success. We discussed this with Jim and he returned, at our request, to further trouble shoot this arc breaker fault. After a few hours of troubleshooting, Jim discovered the problem with wiring in the attic. A repair was made and the arc fault was eliminated. Masterful. Because the troubleshooting was performed so efficiently Jim had time to install under counter lights.
