They did the things I wanted done and more. Very Honest, hard working people.

This was tricky as the pecan tree was between the garage and back building (<2ft on either side) and the other two large oaks were within 30ft of structures. They came and knocked them out in one day and the price was significantly cheaper than multiple competitors. I stuck around for a couple hours and was impressed at how methodically they segmented the trees and cleaned everything up. Would definitely hire them again.

I have used Shawnee for over 7 years. Each time, quality freshly dug trees or reliable sourced container trees arrive, are expertly planted (Shawn's an A&M arborist/horticulture grad), and then you cannot tell they were there...except that you have new trees. I was really worried about bringing in a tractor on my city lawn (previously used them on acreage in Katy), but as usual, once they were gone, nothing but the trees were left. Mulch, dirt, etc. were raked out of the lawn. People I refer to Shawn always comment on how affordable and amazing his trees and services are. I highly recommend Shawnee on price alone, but you get awesome service including a replacement if something goes badly like the crazy Houston weather insisting on being in the high 90s for 2 weeks in the Fall right after planting...all but one tree thrived and Shawn happily and quickly replaced it.
Why not a super A+ on responsiveness?  Just trying to be 100% honest and like many small businesses, keeping up with email inboxes, etc. is challenging. Shawn gives people his mobile phone number and asks people to call and text rather than email so really the fact than an email went unanswered is more my fault.

This is the second time we have used Shawnee Trees.  They did an exceptional job the first time, so we tried them again.  I am so glad we did.  We needed a tree in our back yard dug up and transplanted (a very large crepe myrtle tree).  They did it in such a short time I hardly knew they were there.  They cleaned up after and everything went great.  You can't beat their price either.  Very punctual, professional, and reasonable prices for people on a budget!! Great work, again!!!

Shawn came out just a few hours after I called to provide an estimate for the work. This was after calling two other places who promised to come and never showed up. I really appreciated his prompt response. He is very knowledgeable about trees and answered my questions and made a recommendation for our two holly bushes that had overgrown into trees. We had not set a specific time, but they came the scheduled day of service and trimmed our three trees and the hollies in short order. They even trimmed some of the neighbors' annoying tree branches that were growing over the fence and cleaned up all the debris. Shawn also gave us some advice on watering and fertilizing the trees and keeping the hollies under control. It now looks a lot better. I would highly recommend them.

I was really impressed with the way Shawnee Trees operate. We gave them a call. They let us know when they would be out. They showed up as & when expected, & did a really neat job for a fair price. I will be asking them to come out again when next the trees need to be trimmed.

They did a good job.  They were very responsive with coming out and giving us a quote and the price was very reasonable.  We had gotten several other quotes and they had the best price.  They trimmed them up nicely and cleaned up and hauled off all of the fronds.  I would definitely recommend them for any tree trimming you might have.  They have trimmed our oak trees before also and done a good job. 

Their price is very reasonable.  He is incredible.  I called them and they know exactly what the problem.  He came out and fixed it.  He was there to help.  He calls himself as herbologist or a tree doctor or tree whisperer.

Shawn did exactly what I needed done, very promptly.  I have used Shawn a second time to do work on a large pecan tree that needed help.  I recommend Shawn very highly, and will call him for any tree work I need in the future.  Both he and his wife are very courteous, and very friendly.  Nice to find people that still are pleasant to deal with in the impersonal world we experience nowadays.  

We initially contacted Shawnee Trees to inquire about a tree we needed to have put in due to an HOA specific situation.  Shawn was very professional and answered all of our questions and was very helpful.  They were able to remove an existing tree and plant the new tree, which happened to be a BEAUTIFUL TREE, all while we were at work.  They simply left an invoice on our door, which was super convenient for us due to our busy schedules.  I definitely recommend Shawnee Trees if you are looking for reasonable priced trees (and nice ones too!), and great customer service.

Went well. Shawn is experienced and spent a bit of time with us going through his inventory to find the right trees. Came out on the coldest day of the year, dug the holes, and had them planted before lunch.

I had already purchased 3 nice oak trees for my back yard from Shawnee Trees in 2011. I wanted one more for my front yard. This time I purchased a larger one, a 100 gal Shumard Red Oak. I saved the planting cost by digging the hole at the dimensions recommended by Jennifer at Shawnee Trees.
I was very pleased with the tree that was delivered. Shawn did not have one already in a container so he dug up one that was at least 20' high and very healthy looking. Then men who delivered and placed the tree were courteous and professional.
Shawn knows a lot about trees (Masters in Horticulture) and has provided great advice to me in the past.

Shawnee Trees did a very good job. I know good tree trimming when I see it. This is the third time in several years I've seen them come out. Everything is excellent. The way they trim the trees matches everything I read about tree trimming. He is a certified arborist.

I had previously spoken with Shawnee Trees about removing and existing tree and replacing it with a smaller tree. They showed up on Friday morning as I had requested after calling to let me know they were on their way. They arrived with all the equipment needed to perform the work and more people than I expected which allowed them to perform tree pruning and while cutting down the old tree at the same time. Work was performed quickly and satisfactorily. Only issues I had were they didn't lay down any protective mats on the lawn before driving the stump grinder and tractor onto the lawn. Also, they are sometimes slow about returning phone calls or answering e-mails. Otherwise, no complaints. The owner is very knowledgeable about tree care and answered all of my questions.

Shawn (the owner) came out and looked at the trees, I told him what I wanted done and he gave me a quote and said he could do it right now. Shawn and one helper trimmed the trees up very nicely, mulched and hauled off all limbs, made sure the yard was clean, asked if it looked good and had it all done in 2-3 hours in 100 degree heat. He is also very helpful in sharing his knowledge of Horticulture. I have also bought trees from his tree farm and he planted them, did a very good job with that also.
