Pink's Cleaning Services

We called Jennifer (owner) to discuss starting a maid and organization service for my home on a weekly basis. My home had become cluttered, etc over time and we needed a full deep cleaning, upstairs and downstairs, plus some garage cleaning. Jenn was a no show to our first appointment. When I called, she stated she had left her appointment book and forgot about our appointment, so I rescheduled. She then did not show to the reschedule, and when I called multiple times, she did not answer. The following day she called, and apologized, and gave me a story about how she had gotten something into her eyes and was unable to open them for the evening. She offered to meet me that not, to which I agreed. We did a walk through of our home, and she gave me a quotation of $350 to clean everything. Great Deal! I thought.... The first few visits went OK, and she was being productive in organizing closets and getting the upstairs living room picked up. She was not very prompt and had issues keeping appointments. I was willing to be flexible (as she is a one person crew from what I can tell) and had existing clients, and she assured me that she would make the next appointments on time. On multiple occasions she stated she would be there by 6pm, and would show up at 7:30 or later. I would only allow her to work until 9 as I have 3 children, who were in school during this time. When she was nearing completion of the upstairs organizing, I offered to give her half of the agreed price, and she agreed. Over the Memorial Day weekend we were away and I left a house key for her to work on the house, do laundry, clean the kitchen, and organize our study. She did this work over the weekend we were gone, although she left laundry piled on the couches, unfolded and we had to fold everything upon our return. It was after this she became almost completely unresponsive. I would call and text to try and get her to come to the house and complete the bedrooms and garage areas, and she changed her phone number on two occasions during this time, citing some personal issues. I requested on multiple occasions that she return my key and as of this notice, I still have not received the key. She did make one more stop by my home, and she was late again, and she seemed very unhappy to be performing services. She mentioned that she thought we didn't like her and I said that she needed to work on being on time, and completing the work. I am guessing that she didn't like that type of answer, and that has been the end of any correspondence to this point. I have since done some checking and it appears during this time frame a similar issue was had with Pink's. Based on my experience I would never recommend that Pink's be used by anyone if you need cleaning done.
