Since you don't have the cut and paste feature in this website, I don't want to retype everything I said up above. Suffice it to say that the repair work went like clockwork. Bruce, Kodiak AC's owner/technician, arrived on time and went to work immediately. He replaced a worn out capacitor and another burned out part from my 14-year old Carrier AC compressor unit. He had the necessary compressor parts with him, which was very convenient, as I didn't have to wait in a stifling house for the parts to be ordered. Bruce took about 45 minutes to complete his work outside. After he was finished, he came in and explained everything to me in detail. Bruce knows just about everything there is to know about AC units and how to get the best cooling out of them.
I especially appreciate that he doesn't try to pressure me into purchasing a new unit when he can repair the old one.
Bruce is very neat, polite, efficient, and informative. I was very satisfied to have the work completed so fast and without problems. I trust Bruce to tell me the truth about the equipment he is repairing. I also think his charges are quite reasonable.

He charges every time when he comes out, unless he has just been out and then there has been a problem. We spent $70 the last time we used him and it was for a fall check. We use him because he is very honest and he only recommend what the customer needs in their house. He does not try to sell something to me and we think that he is trustworthy.

The man came out and he was very informative. He didn?t try to sell an expensive system to me. I spent $3500 on their service. They sold me cheaper system which had 5-year warranty. After they did the installation, they followed up. They called back several times to see if everything was working well. They weren?t very punctual, though. They were able to install the system in a day. The gentleman, who owned the company, was very informative. He explained everything and answered all my questions. He tried to give me what I wanted instead of trying to sell me something that he wanted me to buy. I will use this company again in the future.

He spent time assessing the problem and was able to return the unit to service. The previous repair person wanted $3600 to replace the entire upstairs unit.

He explained that I didn't need any parts at all. The way the wind was blowing, our safety had come on because it has a mind of its own! We've asked him to now call us about heating and air conditioning check ups. He was very knowledgeable and very interested in making sure we knew how everything worked.

Great service! Our a/c went out around midnight on the hottest day of the year. We called Bruce at 5:30 a.m. - he said no problem. He was there by 8:00 a.m. and we had air again by early afternoon. A neighbor has used him previously. We had also received a quote from him to replace our entire hvac system about a year ago.

Recently, I had my furnace cleaned by Kodiak heating, and I was very pleased with the service man. The furnace hadn t been cleaned in a couple of years so it was dirty; the service man checked everything and nothing needed to be replaced. I had a few concerns and questions for the repairman, and he was very knowledgeable in his answers.

RECEIVED SAME DAY SERVICE AFTER AC STOPPED WORKING. OFFICE CONTACTED ME TO UPDATE ABOUT ARRIVAL TIME. TECH ARRIVED AT TIME PROMISED. AFTER CHECKING UNIT, IT APPEARED TO BE A MATTER OF A POWER SURGE CAUSING UNIT TO CYCLE OFF. TECHNICIAN EXPLAINED HOW NEWER UNITS DO THIS AND WHAT WE COULD DO SHOULD IT RECUR. HE WAS INFORMATIVE, EXPLAINING HOW THE AC COMPRESSOR FUNCTIONS, AND VERY FAIR IN HIS PRICING. WE CERTAINLY APPRECIATED HIS HONESTY. I EXPERIENCED THE SAME TYPE OF SERVICE WHEN THIS COMPANY PERFORMED WORK AT MY PLACE OF EMPLOYMENT. WE WILL DEFINITELY USE THIS COMPANY AGAIN.
