They were NEVER on time despite making us get up early to let them in. Patrick told us if he could start at 8 a.m. it would be a 2-3 day job. He didn't have all the parts he needed. At first it was because he had a loaner truck and then it was because his fellow employees took parts out of his truck instead of going to the warehouse. I knew I would have to redo the tile around the bathtub but the damage to the walls was extensive. The tile man covered what he could but I will have to repair several inches of wall. The toilet in master bath "rocked" after installation. After trying to "shim" it twice he ended up pushing it back an inch so it was against the wall. The tank lid no longer fit. The toilets are much higher than the old ones and uncomfortable and the faucets are too large for the sinks plus we wanted two handle faucets. We got two handle faucets for the bath tubs but he said they no longer make them for sinks I told him they were too big and made it difficult to wash your face he said well that's what they gave me. They still show 2 handle faucets on the web site. He had nothing to say about the damaged walls and admitted they had put a small gouge in my vanity but couldn't explain how. I hired them instead of general contractors because they said they would flush the lines. One of my toilets wasn't flushing and this would fix that and prevent slow drains. After they "fixed" my laundry drain my laundry room flooded and backed up sewer in my kitchen sink. When Patrick, the plumber, got here the next day instead of apologizing for not flushing the line like he was supposed to he tried to blame me and told me my sewer had little tree roots in it and couldn't be fixed. I told him I can fix it and he said "o you can fix it I can't fix it I don't know how. I mean I don't think we even do that kind of work". There are no tree roots that was just debris that had accumulated in the pipe while it was open and flushed right out. He just hadn't flushed the line. After that I told them not to send Patrick back to my house even though he was supposed to rebuild a faucet handle he had just installed because he didn't trust it. I called to complain about the size of the faucets and I wasn't happy with how he stopped the rocking toilet. Kurt came out to look around and decided to change out the tank for a smaller size so the tank lid would fit. Then the toilet stopped working. Kurt tried to snake it but it didn't work so he said he would send someone out asap. The next day the other toilet stopped and they sent Greg out. He manage to get the toilets working but told me my septic system was old and probably needed to be replaced or it was tree roots. I told him I had it pumped last year and he told me my pipes are run weirdly and then started telling me how a septic tank works. He told me they flush the lines by filling a bathtub with water and draining it. Kurt told me after all we had been through he decided to pull both toilets and replace them with shorter ones that are more suited to shorter people. I asked him to replace the faucets with ones that fit the sink but he said I would have to buy them and they would not refund my money for the faucets that don't fit. I paid them over $7300.00. $450.00 for each faucet. I don't think this is fair. Patrick put in the wrong size faucet. A professional plumber should know about faucet to sink ratio. The kitchen faucet and the drain in one of the sinks in the master bath and the hall bath have a residue on them that won't come off. There is plumber's putty around all the drains. This 2-3 day job is still not finished and for the money I spent I expected better. I am happy with the replacement toilets. They still have to fix a bathtub faucet by cutting the pipe and rethreading it. They started this job on July 21. My daughter suffers from heart, lung and digestive issues and I suffer from chronic pain. Neither of us sleep well and getting up early was extremely difficult. The plumbers left before 4 every day. Katy plumbing installed a new toilet that stops flushing once a week for the last three weeks. They actually said I need metamucil.
