After using Greenkeeper in Katy, TX for over 2 years, I watched them service my yard today and my nieces yard across the street from me. On fertilizing both front yards, they took their spreader down the yard 1 strip down, which my yard is at least 12 feet wide from street to house. When I questioned the 2 techs if that really got the whole area, they said their spreader should handle an area of 5 to 6 feet. Also they said I would not see their black granules. One pass will not cover 12 feet wide as I have literally used various spreaders myself and I realize this spreader is commercial. Of course they did the back yard more after I mentioned it to them. When I called the company today the owner said his son-in-law is now part owner and he knows he did a good job and has never had any complaints on him. Is this because no one has ever watched them? I feel after using a company for 2 years + maybe they are getting too comfortable and cutting back on their products. Most people are working during the day and not watching these companies service their yards. I think it is time to try another company.

They came right out to see what was going on with our lawn as it was full of weeds and had many brown spots. He gave us a very fair quote and a couple weeks following the first application, our lawn is extremely thick and weed-free. Our lawn has never looked better!

So far we have been pleased. We have used this company for several years. We know if our grass has a problem because we've used this service with Greenkeeper. They give written evaluation and instruction on when to water etc. when you use this service.

They didn't follow back up with me.

He comes out eight times a year. He always make it a point to let me know ahead of time when he is coming. If I see any problems, I can call him and within days he is looking into them.
