I've used them for many years. They do an excellent job, very professional and I would highly recommend them.

Called G & H on May 9 and within 24 hours they had two service techs at my house. One of my A/C units wasn't blowing cold air, and after about 30 minutes of performing diagnostics on the furnace and outside compressor they determined it was a loose connection and a a slight freon undercharge.  The techs took time to explain the repair to me, didn't add any unnecessary parts or charges, and were extremely professional and cordial.  Plus I got a $30 new customer discount.  I won't hesitate to use G & H again.

they fit us in same day we called. they were friendly and fixed the problem opposed to try and convince us we need to buy a whole new system. very pleased.

It was a routine visit with no surprises and Nick was on time for the appointment. I am very satisfied. I supplied the bleach for the drains. This was the spring visit on a 1 year service policy with the company.

They did a very good job. He has done my house several times. He said there was absolutely nothing wrong with my air conditioner whereas the other guy was saying that it was leaking. They do a good job. They come on time. Their price I think is a little high compared to others.

Called Nick for estimate, He came out and reviewed entire system, asked me questions. (My old system was installed by him 15yrs before) He even stated that I could repair my 15yr old system, but I wanted a new system. He gave me 2-3 different quotes based on brands and furnace replacement. His quote turned out to be the best quote from the two companies I got.Gand H and Absolute Comfort.

During entire process, my phone calls and emails were answered promptly.
Absolute Comfort has been pretty decent and honest in a number of prior visits, to recharge freon, but their quote as very short and I felt like not enough time was spent looking at my system. Their quoted price for the furnace was not competitive.
The two installers arrived exactly on time, and conducted install professionally and cleanly. They willingly and patiently answered questions during the install process. They started at 9am and finished about 4pm.
Gand H also provided a hard copy of the manuals for the A/C and furnace. There is a one year parts and labor warrantee with the entire system warranteed for 10years.
In short, I was very pleased, and the a/c and heater works well, as far as I can tell so far. I had work done before I got on Angies list, so I just want to put a good word in for them. Their Honesty and Value is be rewarded.

Nick was great..
He blew out the drain lines - serviced the unit on the roof and inside house. This was a condo apartment so the roof was 2 floors up. He cleaned up the Carrier unit and checked Freon. He found a leak in the pan inside the house and recommended it be replaced...despite it was Friday afternoon, he wasn't in a rush to finish...was very thorough. He left with the model number of the pan with a promise to call with an estimate the following week.
They called with the estimate to procure and install the pan. Nick came the following Friday and removed the old pan and installed the new one and made some changes in the installation to improve the drainage. He was great...cleaned up afterward, very polite and answered all of my pesky questions.
I will definitely call for service and maintenance again and would recommend Nick.

This is the ONLY a/c service/ installation company we will recumbent. We have used Gand H since we installed a new energy-efficient a/c and furnace back in 2009 and wouldn't go anywhere else. They re-ran some of our existing duct-work to make the the air-flow more efficient and comfortable and created two zones in our two story house (we thought we'd need two units, so it saved us a lot of money). Mark and Allyson have always been quick to respond to our calls if we had any questions. Their techs came back out to do some minor repairs and cleanings and are always pleasant, courteous, and on-time. We recently called them to see if they serviced the Lake Conroe area because we wanted them to inspect the a/c system in a condo we bought. Unfortunately, they don't service that area, but made a recommendation that we were very happy with.

I called yesterday (Sunday) and left a message that my AC was not working. Called again first thing this morning and spoke with Allyson who told me that someone would be out first thing to repair or assess the problem. He arrived about an hour later and determined the compressor was toast. He gave me two options and prices for repair. When I approved the repair, he called the office and told me the work would be done today. I called the office a bit later to confirm the time and the Angie's List 10% senior discount. Mac arrived with the new unit within an hour of the scheduled time. The new unit is clearly better, and obviously more efficient than the one it replaced. It is also much, much quieter. I am very pleased so far. About Mac: This young man was extremely pleasant and professional in his work. The result of his efforts was a very tidy, quality, installation. To repeat, I'm very pleased with the response time, the new unit, and my contacts with the G and H personnel. They have done some work for me in the past. I was happy with them then and am happy with them now. And they are definitely the first ones I'll call in the future.

The overall service was great. They did the job I needed and didn't try to sell me anything extra.

The service man came and listened to my story regarding my problem (significantly hotter in summer or colder in winter in the master bedroom than any other room) and what I had done to address the problem. I had had additional ventilation added and additional insulation. I had had it inspected by other A/C people. He went up in the attic, saw that the exhaust duct in the master bedroom was not connected (therefore the air couldn't circulate), reconnected it and solved my problem. All for the $90.00 trip charge.

The owner, Mark, came over and did a through check of the house and saw some improvements that other companies did not notice. The quote was competitive and they also included a free year of maintaince and a 2 year labor warranty. They showed up on time and completed the work a quoted. This is a family owned operation and I felt comfortable with his workers being in my house.

Absolutely great job! We were referred to Gand H by neighbors who'd had work done by them on our street. We were already living in our new house in another city and Gand H made coordinating appointments with our representative a breeze. Excellent price and we got more than we asked for in service. Too bad they're not in the city we moved to, or we'd use them again!

They are great. I have used them for 20 years. They come when ever I call them. They call me by name. They are honest with me. They come as quickly as they can. They have even come out when they their work is done, they go above and beyond.

Excellent service. The freon was checked, valves were checked for leaks, motor amps were checked to evaluate excessive current drain. The coil was cleaned and filter checked. Clorax was used to prevent sludge building up in the drain system which could cause hundreds of dollars for ceiling repair if the drain pan over flows. This is the type of service you can expect from Gand H air conditioning and heating with or with out a service contract.
The service call was $90.00. We got a 10% discount because we are Angie's List members, and 10% discount because of our service contract.

I was extremely satisfied with Gand H AC. I called on a Sunday morning and they were able to come out the same day. They charged me the normal trip fee of $90 instead of the weekend rate of $180. Mark was able to find the problem in less than 5 minutes and also showed me a preventative solution. I am extremely happy with the service performed and I will call Gand H AC for all my air conditioning needs in the future. This is a honest air conditioning company and I will recommend them to anyone needing air conditioning services.

I have been using Gand H for a few years to service my HVAC needs, and continued to use them as I changed houses.
I figured it was time to change out the about 14 year old units in my house as it was coming off a lease, each was showing its age with some leaks that needed attention throughout the year. Mark indicated that we could possibly manage another year or so - in fact Gand H service had gotten the units to 14 yrs I figure - but I wanted to switch out. Mark therefore went over all the options of single and double stage, mfg quality and rebates and arrived at the best cost effective solution.
Work started right away and the workers finished in two days, they had to come back to verify the gas heater was working as through the lease transition I had let the gas company to shut off the gas but Gand H came back the day after I had it back on.
Units are working great and quiet...looking forward to the lower electricity bills!!
