Absolutely zero stars. I used them before in the past but never again.There is zero professionalism and any call to them for service is an inconvenience and they make you feel horrible. I had an issue, explained below, and the owner has yet to return my call after a month to make this right! I will be posting this exact same review on every site possible. Their service guy, Jack ( short for jack-a$$) is rude and always points the finger at the customer, instead of realizing that parts are just not made as well as they used to be. I had 2 AC fan motors go out. Both have a 10 YEAR WARRANTY, …ten year on PARTS and both went out a month apart before year 4. I had the exact same service for both motors, and the exact same amount of coolant added to both units. Some how the exact same visit 3 weeks apart was $800 and $1100. The coolant amount for each was 1.75lbs and they said they have to round up to 2 lbs @125$/ lbs. both visits should cost $500 in coolant..not arguing that. I looked up both motors online, exact specs, and they both run about $500. I was told that they were $1200 each… absolute lies. They are definitely a price gouging company a mark things up between factory and installation. Each visit to install the fan took less than an hour, yet labor cost for each identical visit was different. If you do the math, 1100-250 =850 in labor for 1 motor and 800-250 =550 for labor… I called 4 ac companies after this major screw-fest, and all of them gave me the same answer, that a motor replacement under warranty should never cost $550-800 in labor, NEVER!! ($250-400 max) If you are reading this review and you think I would take my time out of my day to go into all this detail just to make things up, think again. I won’t ever be able to get my money back for these clowns and their horrible attempt at an AC company circus, but knowing people will read this and NOT CHOOSE THEM, is even more satisfying and costly to them.

The quality of work was good. I like the owner. I would use the service again.

They were efficient. They would tell you exactly what was going on and economical. They have a service agreement.

I've been using the service for 40 years. The quality of work was pretty good. I use them all the time. The response was quick and if there was something wrong with my AC, if not the same day, they came first thing in the morning. They were nice and friendly. You can use a credit card or debit cards.

The quality of work was excellent. It was a good service. I would use the service again.

In the summer of 2019 (house is a 5 year old Darling) we started having trouble with the evaporator drain on our A/C becoming stopped up, due to large flakes of rust. We decided to just live with it until Jan or Feb and then replace the evaporator. Learned from one of the service people that this particular Carrier evaporator has problems with the supports rusting and flaking. We checked several repair options and decided David at D&D Mechanical Services had the better option. We sent him photos of the compressor and evaporator specification so he could acquire our desired evaporator a Trane. He came by a couple of days before the scheduled work just to verify everything. His crew came in and removed the Carrier unit and surprise surprise there are struts on each end of the housing labeled in English AND Spanish indicating to remove before installing. Attached to each of these struts was a plate that obstructed half the opening, significantly reducing the air flow through the A/C. While replacing the evaporator attempting to use the standard ability to pull the Freon back into the compressor it was found that the Carrier valves to implement this did not seal. This caused David to have to completely evacuate the system and replace ALL the Freon. Since this has been done it appears that the overall environment in the house is much more even with fewer spots that are a little warmer or cooler than the rest of the house. Over a great experience!

A/C was low on freon. Also, sealant was injected for possible leak. David was wonderful and very professional. He is now my go-to A/C guy!!! Highly recommend!!!

They did a very good job. They were very responsive which I really appreciated.

This is a GREAT Company to work with!!!!!!  David and Max are always on the ball.  We called on Thursday afternoon and they were here Friday morning @ 8:00 am to install.  They were finished in less than 4 hours and everything worked great.  This was essentially a 3-story install (on the ceiling of the second story) and they took care to put down carpet protectors when they removed the old unit from upstairs and took up the new unit.

This is NOT the first time we have used these guys!!!!!!  They have replaced two A/C units , both the inside and outside components (zoned).  They have been my provider of choice for all our A/C and heating needs @ our house for almost 10 years.  They are always punctual, professional, and their prices are always fair!!!!!!  You can't go wrong with David, Max, and DD Mechanical!!!!!!!
