Rick Cotton is the best. His company installed and maintains our water softener every three months. He has our service on a schedule and always calls us to set up a time. We appreciate all of his service folks and their professionalism. Highly recommend.

This is the second time we have used Cotton Plumbing. They have done a great job, and even made us aware of a rather large problem with the work of a previous plumbing company. Our water heater vent was not put on correctly by the company that sold and installed it for us. It was a potentially unsafe carbon monoxide problem. We called that company and they came out with a different plumber and we were able to get it fixed for free. We did not get any other bids for the current water leak repair, and so I am guessing that the $300 is a fair price. Our last job was a $500 pipe repair in the attic. They replaced 17 feet of galvanized pipe with the new piping material. It was in a very restrictive area, but $500 still seemed to be on the high side. That is just my feeling, I really have nothing to compare it to. When asked about how much they charged to re-pipe the entire house, they gave us an exceptionally good price. We will have to wait for later on that.

Now the handle is loose and flushes most of the time, but sometimes it doesn't. There is also a leak that they previously inspected and it continues to leak. It has been going on for years and Matthew has been aware of that and he was upset to see it. Matthew said he was going to charge me to come out and call the neighbor. He spoke with the neighbor and the neighbor came into my house. I never gave consent for the neighbor to come into my house. He told the neighbor what was wrong and how to fix it. There was also another leak in the other bathroom and he told the neighbor how to fix that one. I did not call him here to tell the neighbor how to fix it. Matthew charged the neighbor $100. After a few days the leak stopped for a while but then started again. I called Matthew and he got hold of the neighbor and told him to come back to my house. He let the neighbor in again without my consent and they talked with each other and then left. I saw them talking and I asked what was going on. He said it is my air conditioning that is causing the problem. I felt betrayed that he talked to this neighbor about what I called him out for and he is saying it was my fault. He said he check both the tubs and they were fixed. I called the A/C people and they said there is nothing wrong with my A/C unit and it is perfect. The water is leaking to no end and they had to cut a whole so it would not flood the whole condo. I have since called someone and they came and fixed it. They said it all came from the bathtub in the neighbor's apartment.

I give them all 'A's for promptness and service. They quoted me fifty dollars for a diagnostic look but because we had the Angie's List coupon, it was free. I would use them in the future.

Matthew had diagnosed a problem I have had for 7 years. I have had to call several plumbers come look and was unable to fix it and not only was he able to diagnose the problem, but he also had the skills to deal with a very difficult man. The repair was quite expensive but will have to be done by the neighbor in the condo. Really superb, He came back this last week and changed a whole tank in the bathroom that is very difficult to change. I would like to thank them very much, and the company that carries people of this caliber.

The issue ended up being a leak in the roof which understandably couldn't be fixed by this company.  The technician who came out could have easily charge me for something that wasn't the root cause, but he didn't.  He took the time to check the pipes in the attic and verified that the leak wasn't coming from there.  He had me spray water  onto the roof and that is where he saw that water was coming in from the roof.  The seal where the roof meets the house had been worn away.

Same Day Service...Called earlier that morning, indicating we had no hot water and if they would be able to come out that day to fix the issue.  We were able to get an appointment for that same morning.  The plumber arrived on time, as scheduled and went to work.  Came in, performed diagnostic, re-lite pilot light and corrected the stuck pressure relief valve.  Was told there would be a diagnostic fee of $49.95 on the phone, which would apply to the total cost of repair.  The cost of the visit totaled $149.95

Water softener installed by Cotton and this is second quarterly service. They keep track of quarterly maintenance and always call prior to the scheduled maintenance. They are always polite and friendly. The maintenance includes running thru cycles, cleaning, adding salt, etc. They always clean up after themselves if there is a spill from back washing. We are so pleased with their service.

They were very professional and courteous, they did quality work, and they cleaned up well after they finished the installation.   We really appreciated that they took photos of some damaged pipes and showed them to us as well.  Ultimately, we are very happy with their services and would definitely recommend them.

Everything wnt well.  They were professional, charged a fair price, and did a good job.  Furthermore, they were very neat and cleaned up any messes that they had made.  You would never know that they had been at the house.

We bought a new water heater and the company we purchased it from could not install it because of a leaking pipe directly overhead. The copper piping was corroded and could not be repaired. We started calling Katy area plumbers and most did not do this type of work but we were referred to Cotton for pipe replacement.  We called and they promptly came out, inspected the attic pipes and took pictures revealing several leaks throughout the attic. All copper piping were removed and replaced with the latest improvement in piping systems. They hooked up the water heater. They also replaced piping and fixtures in the master bath. The servicemen were very courterous and neat. They wore booties in the house. Ron was the lead and Wes and another young man were in the cramped attic for hours. We are very pleased.
