"We aim to please. Glad we could help with your new home."
Update: I had Brightway out to patch carpet in our master closet, they work is amazing, no one would know that the carpet had been torn up! We will be using them and no one else in our new home.
After the cleaning, the carpet was very wet and the babysitter and my husband had to use towels to pick up some of the water. (The carpet seems more wet than when we clean it with our Bissell ProHeat Steam Cleaner and much more wet than with other carpet cleaning services we've used.) I called back later and spoke to a manager and she sent the supervisor to come by and look at the work. By the time I got home, my husband and the sitter had already picked up some of the excess water with towels. The supervisor came later in the afternoon and said that it should dry soon and that it was fine as it was.
Do be aware that if you use the and quot;BuyNowand quot; feature, that they'll ask for more money when they arrive to pay for taxes on the service which is not included as part of this deal. This caused some stress / confusion for us because I told the sitter that I had paid for everything online and I had not left additional money for this charge. I spoke to Angie's List about this and they mentioned that typically companies list additional charges in the text or fine print of the deals. Perhaps some simple rewording would clear up any confusion such as and quot;applicable tax will be charged at the time of the service and is not included in this dealand quot; would be clearer communication.
I will not be using this company again and I would not recommend this company to any of my friends.
"When Member called to book appt she stated LR was size of 2 brs ($80.00) and she wanted stairs (turn $65.00) done. She stated she was getting coupon from Angie’s List for 3 rms $89.95. I explained that there would be addition charge for the stair since they cost are more then 1 rm of carpet cleaning. The additional charge would be $15.00 + Sales Tax. She told me on the phone she had a baby grand piano and did not want it moved. I told her we would move anything 1 man can move with exception of antiques, breakables and electronics, we would not move the piano. When our tech arrived the sitter was there as Member stated. The sitter instructed our tech to move everything included TV & the piano, He told the sitter we do not move those kind of items. He called the office & asked me about our policy, I stated no, we do not move them & told our tech I went over this with Member on the phone & stated Member even stated she did not want the piano moved. Our tech moved other items and cleaned the carpet. When he was done he asked the sitter to pay the Sales Tax and sign the invoice. She refused to do either one. Our tech told me the sitter was rude & disrespectful towards him, since he did not speak Spanish. He told her he was only ½ Hispanic and only knew a little Spanish. Member called & stated her carpet was soaked and it would take 3 days to dry. I called our tech & he stated carpet was very dirty & he had to scrub it to get it clean and he triple vacuum it. I tried to explain her carpet was very dirty and the tech had to go over it several times to get it clean and for her to turn a/c down & turn on ceiling fans, she cut me off and would not let me talk. She said if we did not get someone out there she was going to stop pymt & report us to Angie’s List that we would not fix the problem and ruin her carpet & baseboards. At that time I told her I did not have a problem sending the Supervisor over there to look @ the carpet & would do so. Member stated, our tech was rude to the sitter & was disrespectful because the sitter was Hispanic, I told her why would he be disrespectful towards a Hispanic person since he is Hispanic. I stated her sitter was not being honest with her @ what things were said or that had taken place. The supervisor looked @ carpet & told Member there is nothing wrong with the cleaning. The carpet looked great considering the condition of it (very old & worn). The carpet was only damp after 4 hours of it being cleaned. The carpet was loose @ Z-bar prior to our arrival. Member stated she was happy how it turned out, but the carpet was still too wet."
