Better Deal Movers

They charged me almost $200 extra because I am a woman. They quoted me $95/hr as seen below and got done in under 2 hours. When it was time to pay he charged me a extra $95 when asked it was for his "truck" paper says traveling fee and not to mention he added a extra $50 for the stairs, again, never mentioned never quoted. I spent almost $400 to move a small one bed room apartment..not to mention everything was broken down and I only had 7 storage bags to move! Because the job was easy it was greed to still try to charge the full amount adding unnecessary fees. I try to support black owned businesses but this is why I regret it everytime. I am extremely dissatisfied and disappointed. They also have my TV sitting on cardboard it isn't even bubble wrapped. Please explain how $190 move turned into almost $400 and I was charged for a truck? Insanity and pure greed. My storage unit was 0.1 first right outside of my apartment! Not even 1 minute away AND the extra $95 for his truck that i was charged for his business isnâ t even located 5 miles away. Scammers canâ t support any more black businesses unfortunately. People fail to realize with greed and dishonesty comes unexpected expenses in their lives and the money isnâ t worth it when god takes right back. If he really needed the money that bad maybe he should quote higher and charge a flat fee instead of lying and manipulating customers. And he always will charge you $20 for a TV box lol. I was referred over and my friends were completely shocked to see the unnecessary fees he added on after using him twice. People talk and businesses thrive off word of mouth but can also be taken from you.

These guys are personable, very friendly, were on time, and took the extra time to wrap all our stuff and moved it all with NO PROBLEMS!!! I cannot say enough positive things about this company. The two guys that helped me move were very professional, curtious and worked very hard to get the move done quickly without cutting any corners. Would 100% recommend using this company, I have already recommended them to a coworker. Great job!!!

Without viewing what had to be moved, they quoted a price which was just an hourly rate. They showed up late and started around 11 AM. Filled their truck twice (3.5-mile move) and quit at around 10 PM without finishing the job. I had to rent another moving company the next day and filled it twice. They also damaged a piece of furniture and had it repaired. The repair looked like it was done by a child. They chastised both my wife and me for not giving them food and drink during the day. These men acted like children. Who comes to a labor-intensive job without water and a lunch?

Better Deals Movers were super fast! Heydee the lead man was nice! Very professional, secured all my items like it was theirs, I have marble table, heavy glass items and etc...they wrapped your things with plastic and blanket and move with care. The best deal ever!
