BAYER HOMES INC

The home was started and I loved the floor plan. From the initial contract meeting the owner Randy Bayer was doing things I felt were deceitful. Specifically he had change the prices on the allowance page from what was presented at the first sales meeting. He did change back to the original agreed pricing when challenged and claimed it was a mistake. I feel like he built a solid house but was always slow and difficult to follow up on the many small things that need to be finished. For example, he would not clean and seal the tile in the house. He would not finish the landscaping nor the irrigation system. I felt I had to spend money on things that should have been finished properly by the builder including landscaping, sealing the tile, and termite treatment. Randy the owner would always in person promise to fix everything and some did get done but some did not. While I can not prove it I am fairly certain he promoted Sherwin Williams Paint when selling the house then used a much lesser quality paint on the entire home. I have reported this to Sherwin Williams also. I love the house but would never again use Randy Bayer for anything. The owner pressured us to close on the home prior to many things being done on the punch list and I felt getting the punch list items complete was very difficult on a timely basis with some things never being completed. I simply do not trust the owner. I believe I found a floor plan I loved and inherited the Builder (Bayer homes). I wish I had selected a builder and developed a floor plan. Had I done it this way Bayer Homes would not have been my first choice.
