Pool and patio turned out ok. Took much longer than expected, and workers onsite were very loud (nothing to do with regular equipment or build loudness). Neighbors complained several times about their loud music and yelling. Had to call owner out each time to get them to quiet down. Workmanship was ok, except for broken pool tiles and broken glass that the owner assured me would be fixed...along with paving stones that were moved during the build process. We are now more than a year past the pool completion, and the promises made by the owner have not been fulfilled. I’ve repeatedly called and texted and I either get no response or never a date to have the work finished. Be aware, just like every contractor I’ve ever worked with, DO NOT finalize payment until work has been completed. I did not want to pay until all promised work was done. The owner promised me repeatedly that it’s ok he will take care of it. Never happened....should someone really have to wait over a year? I’m sure if I had waited to make the last payment this would be a non issue. I’ve attached a pic of the pavers his crew piled up, and have been sitting in my backyard for over a year.
