AMS AC & Heating

My air conditioner system still had the 10 year warranty on the parts and labor so everything was covered. They took care of everything. I did pay a lot upfront for the warranty. They were out the next day so that was good. They arrived when they said they were going to. I think at least three people came out for the job. They cleaned up after themselves. They seem to be nice, professional and friendly.

We considered several companies and brands, obtaining quotes from each.  The AMS price was one of the best, and very competitive.
Gene Henneke was very knowledgeable, responsive, and ran necessary evaluations and tests prior to install. 
Gene answered all my questions about the options and systems.  We chose the Trane XR16 2.5 ton & 3.5 ton units for our house. 
AMS removed the old units and installed both of the new units in the same day.  They left our residence neat and clean after the install. 
The work was done promptly on the agreed date, and the price was exactly as quoted, with no surprises or add-ons.
AMS even registered the equipment for us to be sure the warranties were properly activated. 
We are very pleased with the new units, the service from AMS and the quality of the install.

Experienced some difficulty deterring what the issue was, but kept working on on it until the issue was resolved. He was willing to do whatever was necessary to make sure we were satisfied with his work.

They are great. He is a fine fellow and he is an engineer. So he knows what he is doing. He is prompt and very courteous. His work is terrific.

Gene was fantastic, very professional, prompt and honest.
He came out in the evening to look at our unit and determined that the compressor needed to be replaced. He gave us an estimate for the cost of the repair and we gave him the go-ahead to buy the part and finish the repair. When the final bill came due, it was ~$200 LESS than the original quote. When I asked him about the difference, he said he was able to buy the compressor through a different distributor (same make and model) at a lower price so he passed the savings on to us. I was floored that he would give us the savings on the lower price instead of keeping it for himself when we would have never known about it. He is great!

My A/C was struggling to blow out cool air. I had the unit serviced the summer before and I knew that there was a leak, but I am unable to pay for the coil replacement. Therefore, I was searching around for an A/C repair that would check out my unit and provide refrigerant for it at an affordable price and quickly. I was contacted by the owner of the business during the same afternoon that I had researched. He scheduled an appointment with me the next day, gave me a quote, and arrived on time. The owner was very friendly, understood my situation, and provided me with a great price for his services. It was the best experience I've had with an HVAC person. He completed the job in front of me and even said he was looking into giving teachers some sort of discount for their service to our children. I have saved his card on my refrigerator and I plan to use him again when the time comes.

The workman were neat and punctual. The work was done in a professional way. We feel fortunate to find someone so qualified and trust worthy.

I have uses Gene/AMS for many years. This last repair he replaced coils in one unit and a host of other fixes on 2 other units. Gene assessed the many issues and completely puts me at ease with a solution that doesn't break the bank. You just know by talking to him that he has passion for finding and fixing things. Come to find out he is a licensed engineer...over qualified? maybe, but he loves what he does, does it right and thinks about my budget. Also responds quickly every time.
