This company has no professional ethics. They try to scam you and try to get money for repairs that are not required. They surprised me with 1400 bill.

Horrible, horrible, horrible. This company came to my house through AHS to work on my ac which wasn’t cooling. Tech told me I had many issues including my evaporator coil was leaking and my compressor was failing. Told me he could “bandaid” fix it but I would lose all coverage from AHS. He then stated my only option was to replace the entire unit (to the tune of 21k$) I called another company who confirmed my unit needed to be replaced (less the 10k$ for the same exact unit) but after a week and 3 calls from an AHS rep to get the paperwork, this company reports the only thing wrong was the evaporator coil. Warranty fraud?!? Sound like it to me, you didn’t use our company so we will just say is was something minor. Then let’s talk about the customer service of the supervisors. Called multiple times with no call back, finally got ahold of one and she ended up just placing me on hold and put a 2nd supervisor on the phone. Rude, disrespectful and incompetent are the 3 words that describe these people. Call someone else and save yourself from the ripoff garbage that is called Airtronics.

Quite possibly the worst experience I have ever had. AC went out Monday, they come out Wednesday to repair and need to match a part so we schedule for Saturday b/w 8-12. On Saturday, I get to the house at 7:50 with my 14mth old child only to find that the technician left a tag on the door saying he came by at 7:40 and missed me!?!?!? HOW CAN YOU MISS ME IF OUR “SCHEDULED” APPOINTMENT TIME IS 8-12??? So after about 10+ calls to try and get in touch with him, the dispatcher says he should be there within the hour. So I go back to the house and wait for an hour and a half, still no technician. I call again, and dispatcher tells me she made a mistake and he will now be coming within the next hour. I say, we’ll that tough b/c I have to go check my wife and 14mth old son out of a hotel we’ve been at for a week now b/c that’s how long it has taken them to help us. I’ve also let them know that I have to be there to check out my wife b/c she had knee surgery the day before and can’t get all the bags and a 14mth old checked out. The dispatcher’s response is, “well the technician has already been to your place once today, so he’s doing a reservice and can only wait 15 min for you.” So you’re saying that coming out 20 min before an agreed upon appointment time window of 8-12 counts as a service?!?!?!? On top of that makes it seem like he’s doing us a courtesy by coming back out instead of waiting till Monday!!! The dispatcher original reason for the technician being early was that he “has been very stressed lately and didn’t realize the time.” I have no words other than they are the worst I have ever done business with. Hopefully they will actually fix the AC this time or even show up within an agreed upon window as long as their technicians aren’t too stressed...unbelievable.

I have American Home Shield warranty. Asked for service on Saturday. Someone called on Monday, left message to call them to schedule. But when I called it was only voice mail which was full (!). I called AHS and Airtronics lied and told them that they scheduled service with me but I didn't confirm! I called Airtronics and this lady on tried to convince me that it is my fault service is not schedule. She was arguing, interrupting and simply very rude. I don't want to have anything to do with this company. Terrible customer service

Bringing the right filter the first time. I mean, we live in Houston and they are in Katy, which if you're on the interstate, is a thirty, at least a thirty minute drive, and so why they would even come this far in without making sure they have the right filter, obviously they're not penalized by the amount they have to drive. We pay, no that would be for the repair, it seems we have a maintenance contract in addition, and my husband arranged all that, he kind of is the one who talks to them about that stuff, but we do pay for the filter, and you know when they come, it seems like they flush the line or whatever they do like when they put the bleach in there or whatever, I don't know what that, I didn't even know they did that, but I was talking to somebody else, and she says oh you know I do that, and I said no I don't, but maybe they do avoid the attic. The original salesperson and everything I wasn't so pleased with, but I mean they installed a good product and they installed it well. And so that's, you know, and the service beyond the product counts. They, I remember one time, that whatever wire outside became disconnected from the the condenser outside, see that tells you how little I know. We thought something was wrong and they came out and said it just needed connected and I think they added something else out there whatever, but they didn't charge for it because it was under warranty. My dog could have pulled it out, who knows. Or I could have raked it out of the ground, who knows. It probably should be buried under a conduit, but it's not. We just have some gravel over there, and you know, like I said I don't know how it happened, but it did, and they fixed it. They're good. They're fine. And they're always cheerful even when they bring the wrong filter. They're always up beat, and like I said, I guess they don't get penalized. I guess they just enjoy the ride on the freeway! I'm not really going to fault them for any of that, I think it's more of a management issue with their drivers. They're uniform, they're clean, they're nice, they know what they're doing.

came in to check the AC system. and diagnosed that the fan wasn't working (the Owners son. did this) ...... need new fan motor !!
came back with new fan motor, attached it and it was determined that the power was missing.
Sent in new crew to install/repair power, but couldnt get it organised ..... said my thermostat was broken..
installed an inferior thermostat, which didn't work properly, so they had to come back with the supposed and quot;advancedand quot;
thermostat. (replacement for the original thermostat). but they couldn't get it installed.
Totally incompetent, crew, and then they had the audacity to charge me $500 for their time. !??????
Totally incompetent Ripoff merchants..
Obviously these people couldnt organise a and quot;get drunk party in a breweryand quot;

I called them one time for maintenance but they weren't available. We had to call them back more than a dozen times, to where it was just ridiculous and we just gave up. They came but they never fixed the problem. This was the first system of this type that they had ever installed but they didn't disclose that to us. One of their service man let it slip and it would have been nice to know that upfront. They acted professional that's why we went with them. I think they had different repair man every time. They also installed windows for us and they did a good job on that.

Our very unpleasant experience with this company began when they called the wrong number to schedule. I had indicated the preferred number on the service request and they never called it, which cost us time. When I returned the call, I was told the scheduler had and quot;just stepped outand quot;, so I left a message. After about 6 hours, I called back and was told, again, that the scheduler had and quot;just stepped outand quot;. I left another message, but heard nothing that day. The next morning I called again and was placed on hold for 8 minutes. I hung up and was just about to request a different contractor, when lo and behold, they called me back to schedule. I was finally able to schedule someone for July 3rd, which meant a two day wait. The scheduler told me at this time to turn our AC off. I indicated that I didn't see a reason to do that at this at this point, since it was going to be another two days before they got there and all it probably needed was some freon, since we'd just had it inspected a few months prior. She said and quot;okayand quot;. The tech arrived on time on July 3rd. He went around to check it and came right back and said it was too hot for him to look at, so he'd turned it off. I asked when he was coming back and he said the office would have to schedule it. Knowing this could be another ordeal, and knowing that the next day was a holiday, I knew at the minimum it would be two days before they returned. If they couldn't get to it on the 5th, then we'd have to wait another two days because of the weekend. I told him I hadn't found their scheduler to be very responsive and asked him if I should call the office right then to schedule. He barked, and quot;Give me 5 minutes to call them myself, okay?and quot; At this point, I suggested he turn the equipment back on and we would turn it off in time for it to cool off for their return visit, whenever that turned out to be. He flatly refused. Panicking a bit at the thought of being without AC for an indefinite period of time, I called my husband to ask him if I should okay this. He said he did not agree with this and asked to talk to the tech. The tech told my husband he was leaving it off and my husband said, and quot;No you're not!and quot; The tech handed the phone to me like it was a dirty diaper, effectively hanging up on my husband. The tech then called the home warranty company and had me speak to a hapless customer service employee who said we had to do whatever the contractor says. At this point it became clear that we would not do business with Airtronics and told the tech again to turn the AC on. It is our equipment, not his, and he had no right to turn it off. If there was any issue with us leaving the AC on, we would take it up with the home warranty company - he and Airtronics were free and clear of it. He drove away without a word. We were vandalized by Airtronics and registered a complaint with our home warranty company and the Better Business Bureau. The BBB did get a response from them saying that they had promised to return on the 5th and that my husband had used obscene language on the phone with the tech. These are absolute lies. Beware of this company - they think they own your equipment and are liars. Slimy dealings. The contractor that we hired after we got shed of Airtronics indicated that it was low on freon. Go figure.

Airtronics scheduled the service call within two days of my request. The technician arrived on time and completed his inspection within 15 minutes. Airtronics has been inspecting our air conditioning and heating system since they installed our new furnace in 2009. Thier annual service agreement cost is 75% of that of my previous company.
