He's good, knowledgeable, and trustworthy. If he would discover things that might arise an issue, he brings it to you. He's honest, good workmanship, and he does it right.

Gerald was responsive, answered my questions and provided a number of options regarding the work I needed done to the roof. He completed the work in a timely manner and provided a warranty on the workmanship. Wasn’t pushy about selling me extra stuff I did not want at this time. Thank you.

I had a number of ceiling leaks, both upstairs and downstairs. He was able to locate the source on the roof. He repaired that and we waited for the next rain. No further leaking inside, so the roof was the problem. Gerald returned and repaired all the of damaged ceiling spots. He also sanded and painted the trim on 3 exterior doors that were recently installed.

It's was good work. Got the work done in a timely manner, very clean with the pickup. He was very insightful with the entire process.

All work was done promptly and with excellent quality. On the roof and gutter work they had to work around thunderstorms to get the job done on time. Neither quality nor safety were comprimised in either case. The shed roof was the fourth time I've used this company and I have liked the results, the attitude of the owner and his employees each time.

Gerald Laforest was very responsive to any emails or phone calls I placed to him and stayed in touch during the whole process which made me feel that he is trustworthy. The rain kept them from starting any sooner than they did but once they started, the job seemed to be completed in rapid time. Sam, the young man who works with Gerald NEVER stopped working. He was very polite and helpful in every regard. Gerald was **** ** him in front of us and that's my only complaint. Other than that he did everything he was asked to do and stayed on the job until it was finished. I would definitely hire him to work for me again if needed.

He called to let me know he'd be late, which I appreciated.  He gave a very quick inspection of the roof.  He wanted to charge  $275 to replace a couple of shingles and nail down some flashing that had come loose.  With the "repair credit," of $100 the bill came to $175, which still seemed quite high for the small amount of work.  I had the suspicion that the "repair credit" simply means the price was raised by $100 so that the credit could be subtracted later.
However, I'm not getting on the roof, so we agreed on a price of $75 before he began the work.  Afterwards, he gave me some tips for maintenance and things to watch out for, which I appreciated.  I'll probably just suck it up and get on the roof next time.

He came and originally gave me an estimate of $375. I reminded him of the $50 credit I paid in the order for minor work and $100 for any other work. He then revised the estimate saying that the job is actually $500, but he is including the credit, so I owe him $350 for the job. I had to fix the leak, but it is a deceptive trade practice to do that. Moreover, I provided the shingles, he bought the liner. He didn't do any inspection of the  roof ( didn't even look ) as the order stated.
I'll find out about the job quality after  rainstorms in the future. There are ads in angieslist for similar jobs for $250. ( $250 off from $500 jobs ). I had to pay $400.

The roofer completed the project in an efficient and professional manner.  I don't have any complaints and I plan to use this provider in the future.

We got estimates from a few roofing companies and decided to go with ACS. Gerald's team was punctual showing up between 8:30-9:30AM like they said. They also showed up after we paid and after they completed the job to pick up some left over stuff we asked them to come back for. Overall they did a great job. the replaced a section of the roof and re-shingled.

I found Gerald LaForest with ACS under Angie's List Deals. Our experience was very positive.
On Friday, the day of the appointment, our neighborhood got hit with a terrific rainstorm--so Gerald and I talked by phone and agreed that he would call me late afternoon so we could look at the weather forecast together and see about re-scheduling. He called as promised and offered to come on Saturday morning, even though it was his day off.
He showed up the next morning, promptly. And promptly got to work. He did the agreed upon work, plus gave us some new information about the roof, which will come in handy when we get ready to sell this place. When I requested an invoice for tax purposes, he promised to email me one and he did so without me having to follow up.
My husband and I were both very pleased and would use him again.
The reason I marked him down on professionalism is because of the way he answered the phone--and that may say more about me than him. ;()  I prefer businesses--even businesses conducted by cell phone--to be answered with a traditional, formal greeting, such as "ACS Services, Gerald speaking. How may I help you?"

He is just great.

Service went very well. He did a full roof inspection, and made several small repairs and sealed any exposed places. Also did some additional work us extending a bathroom exhaust vent from the attic through the side of the house. Good work at a fair price.

Gerald and Sam arrived promptly at the agreed time. After a quick investigation into the problem they determined the materials and labor required to complete the repair. They were in and out rather quickly. I appreciated the quality of work, their behavior and the competitive price for the services performed. I was so satisfied with them that I asked that they come back when the weather cools down to quote reroof of the house and the garage.
