Melissa was wonderful and knowledgeable. She explained the process step by step and how things will work. They did an excellent job and I would definitely recommend them for resurfacing and/or any other projects. I also have them doing my week pool service which was one of the best decisions I’ve made since my pool was built. A Plus Pools is the way to go!!!

A Plus Swimming Pool Service did a beautiful job resurfacing, re-tiling and replacing the light in our pool. They are very professional, very attentive, and really went the extra mile to make sure we were pleased. Not only was the work done exceptional, but the owners made several trips to my home during the project to personally ensure that the work was up to standard. They also made sure that we understood what we need to do to care for and maintain our pool with new plaster. I would definitely recommend them for anyone looking for professional and reliable pool remodeling or building.

They did the plaster replacement and the surface replacement. After 18 months the plaster started showing cracks due to poor quality. They said they will repair and never did it. Now they donâ t even answer the phone. I am all for supporting local businesses, but please donâ t use them. And not happy with home advisor as this should be not being recommended.

I have had this company work on my pool for years. Mellisa and the boys are great. They respond quickly to all requests and give reliable service. They take the time to explain what is wrong and how to fix the issue and why it might have happened so it is not a reaccuring problem. They know how to take care of you. They have my recommendation.

They explained exactly what the plan was and completed the plan. There were no problems and they answered all of my questions. We are very satisfied with the people and the work from A Plus pools. I would recommend them to any and all who have pool needs. Also the after startup care was explained thoroughly and easily. Great company to work with.

My wife and I accidentally located APlus Pools while looking for another pool company. We arrived at their office and explained that the piping to our pool salt cell was being repaired. We were asked to return home, photograph the problem, and forward the pictures to the office manager. Later, the office manager told us that a reasonable callout service charge would be invoiced and would contact us when the technicians would arrive. When the two young men arrived, they were pleasant and respectful, finishing the job within minutes. I was impressed with their service, so I asked them to quote other modifications we would like them to make. My wife and I were very impressed with the quality of work done in a timely manner.

Very experienced knowledgeable and take personal interest in their work. when it comes to all the details Mellisa was very informative. We highly recommend their business and service. We are very satisfied with the work they did for us.

This family business does great work and is easy to work with. Both their employees and their subcontractors do a great job. Melissa was great at answering questions and making recommendations. The resurfaced pool looks great.

The whole team helped explain aspects relative to the entire pool re-plaster experience. Provided recommendations to improve the longevity of the surface, and always willing to answer questions and respond. They were the most responsive during the quoting phase and offered recommendations that were cost effective still providing quality.

They made the process very easy. I told them what I wanted and they were fast and efficient! We only had our hot tub retiled but we will definitely hire them when we are ready to redo our pool.

The people that I hired to work on my pool started out as contractors but soon became our friends and I would recommend them to anyone remolding their pool they did great work were very neat and clean and finished in good time

I moved to Houston two years ago and have been consistently ripped off. A+ Pools is the one exception. I got five quotes for a pool replastering and instillation of a pool heater. A + undercut everyone AND offered warranties that were over three times the nearest competitor. And then once they got into the replastering, they said they overestimated the cost and reduced the price by $1500. What companies are this honest these days!? Even better was their customer service. I had never had anything like this done before and had MANY nervous questions. A + has heard all of these concerns before and treated us always with the greatest of respect. This is my pool company forever. I recommend A + without exception.

The re-plaster and new tile are fine, but not all the parts were replaced as promised, skimmer weir flaps, hose connector, and light. The last time they were here was April 27, 2020. They have put us on the schedule multiple times but did not show up. My calls, text, and emails are not always returned. Decking not repaired, handrail not installed. A chip out was not done, but since they drilled large amounts around the jets and lights, they say the price comes out to be the same as a chip out. There are multiple ways to plaster around the jets and light per conversations with other contractors, so not sure why it was necessary to do it like that. If a leak was suspected, then I would think they would have replaced some PVC. Although they were the most expensive for the quotes, they were the most professional, so I felt safe hiring them at the time. If they are still willing to complete the job, I would certainly allow it, because the work they have done so far is good. Lesson learned: Do not pay in thirds, pay 1/2 up front and 1/2 when the job is complete. I have overpaid $1,250 and do not expect to get it back. I tried to wait till the work was completed to write this review, but since they are not returning our calls, I can only assume they will not be returning.

Never showed up when promised .quoted two weeks took over a month.gave me a hand written invoice from a spiral tablet. left plaster debris in flower bed (have pics). said he was shutting business down and moving out of state.

Pool has never looked better, very happy I chose A Plus Pool Service
