STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY. I wish I could give less than 1 star. So this started back in 2023. They were supposed to come out to install a fence and solar gate. Both my husband and I were REALLY sick with Covid and I called to reschedule because neither one of us could literally get out of bed. The owner insisted that we keep the appointment and we could just come out for a minute and I could barely talk and you could hear it in my voice and I told him there was no way that neither my husband nor I could get out of bed. It was a struggle to get out of bed just to use the bathroom. He then texts me and says fine but they're going to charge me an outrageous trip charge for cancelling. So I basically told them yeah if you do that then we're not having it installed I'm done. We were canceling because we were literally sick in bed and you're going to charge me for something that Mother Nature did. Some time went by and he did text back and apologized and said he wasn't going to charge me the trip charge and we could just reschedule. I should have right there and then never called back but I did. I wanted to stand by my word. They finally installed the gate and we had minor issues over the course of the year. The biggest issue was you could never get a hold of a live human being and they would never call back. So finally they would call back or come out, after a long period of time, and they would fix whatever the small issue was. The last two times they were out my husband told him he thought that the gate was dropping and they told him no because they used cement blah blah blah. Needless to say my husband was correct that there was an issue and the gate was dropping because the actuator that opens and closes the gate broke off the gate! The actuator broke off at exactly 15 months after being installed. So of course we called them and no one will return a call. We have also emailed and texted. We've emailed and called both the office, the owner, the job Superintendent, and we reached out to the corporate offices in Florida. I guess once they get your money they really don't stand behind their product. A $14,000 gate shouldn't have the actuator falling off of it 15 months later!!!! I mean come on, that is just ridiculous. On a side note, the gate started rusting and paint falling off about 5 months ago. I didn't harp on that because eh, that's normal wear and tear. You know paint. lol But seriously, the actuator falling off in just over a year. It shouldn't do that. So my point is stay away from this company they only care about your money. They do not care about the quality of their products and they surely don't care about the customer. You're not their customer you're their bankroll and when they got your money they have nothing to do with you. I don't know what kind of company operates where they don't call or e-mail or text customers and clients back. I mean that would have held some weight within itself. I've attached a picture so you can see that I'm not blowing this out of proportion. You can clearly see that the actuator is not attached to the gate anymore. I am sure they are going to s*** some crap about warranty. Seriously, just over a year and the gate is INOPERABLE. That is pathetic. I'm just sick and tired of companies taking advantage of people and not standing behind their product and workmanship and having terrible customer service. My advice to you is if you are looking for any kind of solar fencing do not use this company there are other companies out there even if they're more expensive please go with them this company is a joke. Once they have their money, you are vapor to them.

Our experience with Superior Fence & Rail of North Texas was nothing short of angering and disappointing. I cannot speak for their wood fence installations, but we regret selecting them for our vinyl fence project and are stuck with a poorly installed, sub-par product after spending a small fortune for our new fence. When we were in the process of collecting quotes from different companies, Superior Fence & Rail was friendly and helpful, and ultimately, we selected them based on their responsiveness, product, pricing and reviews. It went downhill from there. Here are the issues we experienced. Superior Fence was terrible at communicating and only proactively reached out when it came to the sales process and collecting payment. We signed the contract and submitted half of the payment on March 27. They never told me when the work would be scheduled so I emailed them on April 1, April 14, April 25, and May 3 for updates about installation dates. Never once did they proactively reach out to me, and they could never give me a direct answer. On May 6, they finally said materials would be coming the following week. After hearing nothing, I inquired on May 12 to confirm timing and they let me know it would be delayed. On May 16, they said installation would be delayed to May 17 due to rain. On May 17, they said it would be delayed to May 18. Finally on May 18, our installation began. That brings me to the awful installation experience. It is astounding how poorly everything was installed. Uneven fence pole heights, so many holes drilled in the gates, dings and dents all over the fence, ugly, unfinished cross bars to hold the gate posts together, huge gaps between the house and fence. I do not know what crew they used to install the fence but they obviously had no clue what they were doing and I don’t understand how a reputable business could deliver such a horrendous product. On May 20, they reached out for payment, at which point we shared all of our concerns. Over the next month, I had to continue reaching out to them to find out when the repairs would be scheduled. I wouldn’t hear from them for weeks! Finally on July 2, the owner brought out the manufacturer’s crew to assess the issues. On July 6, the new crew made some of the repairs. However, we still had issues such as sagging gates that wouldn’t close because not all of the bolts were installed, uneven fence posts, panels that would slide. After several back and forths, they came out on July 14 and replaced one of the gates with a smaller one – and now it has huge gaps and you can see straight into our backyard! We let them know there were still several things we were unhappy with, but they refused to do additional work and demanded payment. A few other comments I would add are that the material seems to be lacking – there is an extra crossbeam which was not shown to us in our quote or any images, and there are many dents and scratches. In addition, the product took a long time to arrive after submitting payment, and our grass was completely torn up after the work. I understand the last two are not necessarily the company’s fault, but it does add to the overall awful experience. In short, we would not recommend Superior Fence & Rail of North Texas to anyone, and I hope this review helps someone avoid the headaches and disappointment we experienced.

My wife and I hired Superior to repair the portion of our 12-year-old fence that faces the front of our house. The gate and posts were leaning forward to the point where the gate could not be opened or closed properly. A crew came out as scheduled and made repairs over two days. While digging new post holes, they inadvertently damaged two paving stones but they replaced the pavers after completing the job. The foreman was polite and courteous as he described the work to my wife beforehand. Superior also honored the 5% discount for Angie’s List members. We are satisfied with their service.

Superior Fence and Rail were focused on finishing the project quickly. We will use them again.

Exceeded my expectations. The timeline from initial contact to completion of project was 24 hours. Fence is sturdy and exactly what we wanted.
