We have a good selection of currently available fabrics from which to order. All furniture is restored in a reasonable amount of time. Our average turnaround time depends on the season, and is usually no longer than two to four weeks from when the furniture is picked up. We provide free in-home estimates. We do not have a sales staff, so you do business direct with the owner. Pick up and delivery is provided free. Exceptions may be made depending on the size and quantity of furniture.

Stephen McCune Upholstery is the oldest continuously operated shop in Texas. In 1923, Mr. McCune started a small shop moved in the early 30's to a strip of land between the San Antonio River and an acequia that fed the Alamo. In 1975, the old man was ready to retire and handed to business over to Stephen. Stephen hired some old timers and started the refinishing business back up after a twenty-year hiatus. Today, the shop is well known among those desiring quality furniture, durable fabrics, and excellent craftsmanship.
