Ok, although they missed some old wiring that needed to be replaced as well.

They arrived at 9:30 am this morning and replaced the springs and oiled the rails. The work took about an hour and the door is working now. They worked for me previously and busted the light cover on my garage door opener but failed to bring a replacement today, they told me they were still planning to replace it though.

They do a very good job and I would recommend them to anyone. I've used them twice and have found them to be good both times.

They said they would be here at 8, they showed up at 8. Everything went well. They did a great job. It was slightly delayed by 2 stray pit bulls. I am still waiting on a cover for the light on the opener to replace the one that broke, but other than that it went well.

The service went extremely well. I have zero complaints about the final product.
We did have some scheduling bumps. The initial appointment for an estimate was delayed to late in the evening due to the installer running late on a preceding installation. Also, the "Gate Keepers" of my neighborhood proved extremely reluctant to allow a contractor entry after hours. The day before the actual replacement, the installer called to reschedule due to conflicting appointments; I was okay with this and he agreed to come on the following Saturday. With the miscellaneous scheduling snafus I was never in doubt to when he would be there due to his ready communication.
I had to work the day of the installation, but my wife said the installer (who is the owner and his wife is his only assistance) were very professional and fabulous people. The work performed was exactly as promised and completed quickly.
I have nothing but good to say about Mr. Smith, and would highly recommend him to anyone needing garage door work.

He arrived at 5:30 as anticipated - boy was I relieved. He explained what had to happen asking for the missing parts immediately (a cable and a wheel that had popped off when two well meaning men tried to fix it). That made me think he at least knew what he was doing. He gave me a price within about one minute after consulting his price sheet. It wasn't pleasant to hear it would be $235 but I had no choice and at least he seemed to know what he was doing.
40 minutes later, the problem is solved! Door is back on the tracks, cords are back in place and it is running smoothly up and down. What a relief to have something fixed on a busy Saturday. It was a little costly but that's what you have to pay a professional to do it right.

He asked me as to who put my garage door up and told me what they did. He said that when they set the door what happened was they twisted the door. So he would have to remove it and replace it with heavier duty because those kinds of things were used for this kind of door. He also told that the other guy who had done the garage door earlier had used the cheapest stuff to get by and that would just break down. Then I said that my boy friend also used the same thing and that also was having the same problem. So I felt that he was probably telling the truth. He did have to replace a lot of stuff which was not cheap. He came in when I needed. The price was a little high. The quality of the door seems to be alright after he fixed because it seems to be working alright.
