We hired him in August 2007, and he signed a contract to be finished by November 2007. Well it is July of 2008 and we are just now moving in (thanks to us, we fired him and got more done in a month than he did in 4); A BIT over the allotted time. They only had to remodel a bathroom and kitchen. We would come over to the house and would find no one had worked for days. Actually they only worked 2 days between Thanksgiving and February. When I would call he would lie and yell at me on the phone. He gave us fake invoices and we paid them only later to have the same companies try to put liens on our new home. Also, things that were in the contract that he was responsible for and showed bills for and was paid for by us was never completed. We paid for electrical 3 times and plumbing and flooring twice. We found out later that he had a BAD record with BBB. He stole monies from FEMA as well as is an illegal alien whom (we found out later) is trying to stockpile money to try and get back to Turkey. He is a liar and a cheat. We bought our new home because we had just adopted our children out of foster care and our old house was simply too small. We had paid off all our credit cards and most other debts before this. But now we are sinking fast. This has been a NIGHTMARE!!!! Also we had things missing from the house. We had already decorated and bought new furniture for our kids rooms (because we were supposed to be in fairly fast) before they were fired, anyways they stole a trinket box ans toys from our kids rooms. Of course they denied it but they were the only people in the house besides me and my husband We would not let our kids go to the new house because there were sooooo many things they could be hurt with.
