Admittedly, he and his son did do some of the work they contracted for well. But what they didn't do well, was really incomplete and done badly. It seemed that work that was too difficult for them, they chose to ignore or was and quot;not in the contractand quot;. We asked several time for certain things to be done, but the end result was very shoddy.
The floor area where the water heater was located had gaps where the ground outside could be seen before repairs were done. Bob was asked several time about how this repair was to be done, and no satisfactory answer was given.
Unfortunately, it was almost as bad after work was finished. We could still the light from outside but in two places, not one.
Bob was asked to repair the bathroom walls and bath surround. Sheetrock repairs were very shoddy and totally not matched up in places where gaps were left. His remark was and quot; The bathtub would have to be removed to do the work and he wasn't doing that.and quot; The work behind the commode and lavatory was awful.
Bob was asked to repair the floor in the bathroom. It was mentioned more that once to him. But it was not listed on his first quote and even though we thought the work was to be done, he never did any. He later explained he understood someone else was going to do the floors and it was not in the contract. This was very disappointing and confusing.
Pictures are of areas after work was finished.
"Dealing with 3 different people on this job lead to a lot of confusion."
