On both occasions, I got a letter back from Texas A & M College where it said, 'Thank you for your sizable donation made in the name of Benny and Joon'. When Benny died they made a sizable donation to their veterinary school and when Joon died, they made another sizable donation. How many vets do you know that do that. That's the only place I take them if I take them. I don't trust anybody else. I'd always rate them an A.

It went excellent. They are the best. They have staff that are like a family. They take really good care of the puppy. I have used them for about sixteen years. Their service is spotless. I recommend them to everybody. I will absolutely use them again.

I recently relocated to Irving, Texas from Cheyenne, Wyoming. My cat starting to have a flare up of his IBS. To find a local vet I located a close vet using Angie's List and found Valley Ranch Pet Clinic. From the time I called they were very friendly and understanding and were able to schedule me for an appointment within a week of calling. The office called me the day before the appointment to confirm that I was still able to keep my appointment and to make my cat was still doing okay.

When I arrived at the appointment they checked me in right away and I only had to wait a couple of minuets before being called back to the exam room. The assistant was very friendly and listen carefully when I told him about my cats condition. When the doctor came in he introduced himself and took every effort to explain to me the causes cat IBS and what steps I could take to help my cat. He also took blood samples, something my old vet did not do, to ensure there was not something else wrong. He told me that he would call me in the morning with the lab results. While taking the blood sample they took all precautions to ensure that my cat was not overly stressed by the experience and did not hurt anyone.

The next morning he called me and informed me that my cat did not have IBS his thyroid was over active and he needed to be placed on medication. The doctor told me how to give the medication to my cat and tricks to make sure that my cat will take the pill.

Overall I have been very happy with the services I have received from Valley Ranch Pet Clinic. They are all very friendly and helpful. I plan to continue to see them for all of my pet's health needs.

I was so impressed with this vet. I have lived in three states and been to my fair share of vet clinics (I have two dogs, one of which is allergic to life itself it seems) and I was so happy I chose Valley Ranch Pet clinic. To start, the lobby is clean, bright, and there are plenty of places to sit. One of my favorite things about the lobby is this little area they created so you can fill out forms in peace. It's a and quot;fencedand quot; off area where you can bring your dog in and let his leash go so you can actually fill out the questions without worrying about your wonderfully excited but very rambunctious friend. It was great - and it was obvious someone actually bothered to think about the layout and functionality of the office.
I did not have to wait very long at all. When I went back to the room and was quickly greeted by the vet tech. She was nice, helpful, and easy to talk to. My dog is a quite large (100 lbs) German Shepherd and can be a bit intimidating. The doctor handled him easily and efficiently. He was a bit uncomfortable, but always is with new people. I couldn't believe how easy the doctor made the visit. He answered all of my questions, and was quick, but helpful.
They administered four shots, including rabies, and did an overall wellness exam for only $140!! The prices are very reasonable (especially including a rabies shot... those are expensive.) They even engraved the rabies tag with my dog's name and my new address / phone number - FOR FREE. I know I have found my new vet here in Dallas and will absolutely bring both my dogs here from now on. To be honest, I would (and have) paid a lot more for the same services with not as qualified personnel.
As a follow up, they also called recently to remind me of a vaccine that is due soon - how great is that? Rather than sending an impersonal mailer, they actually bothered to call me! I highly, highly recommend this vet. Even if I lived across town I would drive here just for the service. Hands down the best vet I have ever been to.

Very responsive to concern, did test, called regarding results and suggestions for diet to remedy. All previous exams and visits have met with same courtesy and consideration for my pet.

This was our first visit to Dr. Rouchon and we will be back! His office is really nice and his staff are professional and friendly. The lady that scheduled us told us about coupons for our first visit that made it only $35 for each dog! This was a huge difference from our last vet (VCA) that charged us for everything and the bill there was always huge. Dr. Rouchon and his vet tech Andrew spent lots of time with us and answered all of our questions. Andrew was very personable and thorough and really seems to love what he does. Dr. Rouchon was very thorough and detailed and made great recommendations. We have four dogs, (3 minpins and a pug) but only brought in two. He showed us around the office and explained all the services in detail. Even the cost for future procedures and visits were explained and very reasonable! I was incredibly happy with our visit with Dr. Rouchon and would recommend him to anyone! He treated our girls like family!

Hands down, the best veterinarian and pet clinic that we've used for our two dogs. We've seen eight different vets in four different states and Dr. Greg Rouchon and his staff are the best. The animal's well-being and best interests are always #1, but the clinic is not pushy with vaccines or treatments. One dog was incorrectly diagnosed with an ear infection twice by other vets and Dr. Rouchon immediately identified the culprit as ear mites and treated it. The staff has made time (on several occasions) during a fully-booked day to see our dogs for a sudden limp or to administer a necessary vaccination before boarding. On one weekend morning, I went into the clinic to pick up a prescription and the owner of an animal was being consoled as the animal had to be put down that day. I could see and feel their compassion for the woman at such a difficult time. I can't say enough good things about this clinic. We moved out of state several months ago, but Dr. Rouchon still graciously makes himself available when we have any questions. Since moving, no veterinarian has met the bar set by Valley Ranch Pet Clinic.

They're really good. They're friendly, they're helpful, the vet loves cats. They know what they're talking about. It may be cost a bit more, but I just feel safe having them there. I don't think they take shortcuts.

This morning I took my cat in for a checkup on what I thought were ear mites. I couldn't get an appointment, it was Saturday and they were already booked. But they told me to come in anyway and they'd work me in. I got there right when they opened and they were able to get to us immediately. The care they took as they examined my furbaby was awesome. They checked him thoroughly, along the way petting him and giving him dental treats which he loved, so it would be less frightening for him. He didn't have ear mites, which was a relief. They didn't try to convince me he had some big medical problem he didn't have. They were honest, knowledgable, very friendly to me and caring toward my cat. I couldn't be more pleased with my experience. Be aware they have all kinds of animals there, so if you have a cat just know there might be a dog or two in the lobby. The place was very clean, and smelled clean too. Like with any place else, be sure to ask how much things are as you go along so you aren't surprised by the total at the end. They do push a once per month treatment for fleas/ear mites/heartworm, but I got the feeling it was out of concern for your pet's health and not because they wanted to make a buck. They gave me a free sample to try it out and see if it was something I wanted to do in the future, and a coupon for a free initial visit for my other furbaby so he can get his booster rabies shot cheaper.

After all was said and done the trip cost a lot less than I had expected, and my cat got excellent care. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a doctor for their furbaby.

Dr. Rouchon used a laser to remove a growth from my cat's face.
The results were amazingly good - even immediately after the surgery, it was hard to
tell that the growth had ever been there. During the initial examination, Dr. Rouchon
found a decayed tooth that required extraction. That was done at the same time as
the growth removal, along with a dental cleaning. Long-lasting antibiotics and pain
medication were included, so there was no need to administer anything at home.

The clinic is a clean, modern, well-equipped facility, and the staff are nice.
Prices are comparable to estimates I received from a few other places.
Above all, Dr. Rouchon is very good with cats (he has 7 himself) and seems to have
a high degree of experience and expertise, along with modern equipment such as
the laser. He also does a good job of explaining and answering questions.
I have used the clinic on a couple of other occasions, and have been pleased
with the service and results.

The vets, Dr. Greg Rouchon and Dr. Tina Capps at Valley Ranch Pet Clinic are absolutely wonderful. I went to them because my last vet was really good for many years and then he got listed in the Dallas magazine as being one of the top vets in the area. Since then his prices went up, his hours were cut back and his services also were cut back. I took my cat to Valley Ranch Pet Clinic as she gets urinary infection on a regular basis. She got tested, got a shot and also got medicines and I walked out spending only $60 for all that. That’s cheap, trust me. They have wonderful office hours. They have two nights a week when they are open until seven at night. They also have Saturday hours where they may or may not have the vet there but they have their technicians there. So, one can still get shots or medicines. It’s open between 8 and 12 and one can just walk in, there are no appointments needed on Saturdays. I think that it’s really wonderful being able to go on a Saturday. They have a very nice and caring staff. Dr. Greg Rouchon is probably a very good cat expert. He is also very good with stray cats. One of the neat things I found out with Valley Ranch Pet Clinic is that not a single pet of mine had to be muscled or had to be given happy sleep gas during their exam. They know how to handle the animals so that the animals are not freaked out. I won’t go anywhere else and will continue using the services at Valley Ranch Pet Clinic.
