After a hailstorm destroyed our roof we interviewed a few roofing contractors and chose Superior One Roofing after meeting with Josh. Superior One is A+ rated with the Better Business Bureau (BBB), Angies list, FB, Google, USAA etc. Josh explained every detail of our roof and gutter installation. He was punctual, professional, courteous and detail oriented. Josh was available to answer any question that arose. He would respond rapidly to our texts or emails. We love our new roof and gutters and are thrilled we didn't have to deal with the hassles and stressors that our neighbor's who didn't know about Superior One dealt with. We couldn't be more pleased with Superior One and highly recommend Josh and his crew.

Very responsive to the quote request, prompt and courteous, great ethics (we had some companies that were using unethical business practices to get more money from insurance for us/them). They really put a lot of thought into the roof, and installed additional vents because the builders just put the cheapest that they could and our home was not very energy efficient. Since they completed the new roof with vents, our home heats and cools much better! We didn't even realize the additional perk, but they did. Thank you for a terrific job!

We made arrangements with Superior One Roofing to have the shingles replaced.  We were told prior to the work that Superior One was insured, so that should their workers be injured, they would be covered.  We were also told that two sheets of plywood would be provided, free of charge, should our roof need it.  The Superior One representative said they would be putting a sign in our yard advertising their company, which never happened at any point prior to work being done or after.  At no time was it mentioned they would be using a subcontractor.
Workers came early, on the day we agreed on, and quickly tore off the old shingles.  As we were leaving, we noticed the work truck said "Reyes Roofing" on it and not Superior One.  At this point we suspected Superior One was using a subcontractor.  We were not sure if Reyes Roofing was insured or if their work would be the same quality as we were promised.  We did notice they did not bring two sheets of plywood as mentioned by the Superior One representative.
The work was finished by the end of the day.  The workers left the yard very clean, though in the trailer containing the old shingles, we noticed several beer cans, which had us a bit concerned.
After we inspected the roof, we noticed exposed nail heads and shingles that had been cut crooked.  There was also a patch of some sort with four nails straight through the top of a piece of shingle on the ridge and glue or caulking over the top of the four nails.  We also noticed a soft sunken in spot in the plywood over the garage area.  They shingled over this soft spot and did not replace the plywood.  They did replace the turbine vents, which we were very happy about, as well as, the vent stack pipes.
We notified Superior One a few times of the poor workmanship.  The representative came and inspected the roof and agreed the workmanship was poor.  He notified his subcontractor, who sent a worker out to fix some of the issues.  Some exposed nails were pulled out and nail holes caulked.  Some exposed nails were caulked over.  The crooked cuts in the shingles remain, however.
I have a video of the work that was done, should it be needed for future reference, however, I am aware that I'm unable to post here.
Overall, we were disappointed in the workmanship that was done by Superior One's subcontractor.  Also, we were disappointed that Superior One did not provide the quality they promised verbally, as well as in the documentation they provided.  We were somewhat pleased with the communication between the Superior One representative and believe he tried to resolve any issues we had, after the work was done.  After this experience, however, we will not be using their services in the future.

The roof of my home and of an outbuilding, and their associated flashing, siding, and paint, were damaged in a hailstorm, and I chose Superior One to perform the repairs. On the upside, their reps were consistently courteous, punctual, and responsive to my concerns.
However, Superior One was not the low bidder for the job. The price shown here shouldn't necessarily put you off, as the home in question has a number of unique features which make it more expensive to repair, regardless of the contractor. Because they came recommended by my insurance company, with which I have a long relationship, and whose opinion I trust; and because I would still be only out of pocket for a modest deductible, I chose them for the job.
The larger issue is that throughout the process, I was troubled that I was consistently finding problems with the quality of their work, and by their proposed solutions to those problems, which I felt were often substandard. Now, their painting and flashing replacement were all first-rate. I say that as a long-time homeowner with fairly extensive experience with roofing and general contractors, so I'm not unfamiliar with the highlights and bumps that can happen in big home repair projects.
But it simply took far more of my oversight and corrective suggestions to get to a satisfactory conclusion to the roofing and some siding repair parts of this job, than it had for other home repair projects with which I've been involved in the past, and I'm still not fully convinced that parts of that job were done 100% properly. In fact, nearly a month after the completion of the job, I'm still awaiting an inspection from the supplier of one of the main materials used in the roofing repair, without which my warranty is not in full effect. If that inspection shows the roof to have been installed correctly, I may consider revising this rating.
In conclusion, if you don't mind staying intimately involved in the day-to-day details and oversight of the job, I can enthusiastically recommend Superior One. However, if you typically prefer to let contracting professionals do their jobs with less of your over-their-shoulder supervision, be aware you may need to up your game with Superior One.

Marty, from Superior One, lives up to their name. From the moment I met her, she was friendly, professional, and extremely helpful. She was wonderful at explaining our insurance claim and never tried to try to sell us an upgrade. She was fair and very knowledgeable about products, regulations, and her field. Her crew was hardworking and their end result was "superior" - we watched crews throughout our neighborhood and by far, Superior One is definitely a grade above the rest. Their commitment to their product shows in their work and when Marty brought something to my attention about my neighbors roofers, that her crew and others from their company noticed. She knew we are friendly and just wanted my neighbor to be aware. To me, that goes above their call of duty and shows how committed they are to their industry as a whole. Our neighbor was using a different company. They gained nothing in speaking up, other than their own personal satisfaction that their attention to detail may have helped others. They are a Master Elite company and live up to that title. The roofing paper they use is a higher grade, standard to them, and their materials in general are higher quality, period. Not only did they continuously keep our yard free of debris, but Marty then patrolled neighboring yards, 3 houses down, for papers that might have blown into their yard. The crew also made sure that I contacted my neighbor to ask to get in their backyard to retrieve papers that blew off the roof into their yard & pool. They cleaned them up. I cannot say enough about Superior One, I highly recommend them.

This is the first time I have ever had to make a claim on my home and deal with replacing a roof due to hail damage. I was very nervous with hearing about all of the fly by night companies that flock to an area where hail storms roll through. I called my insurance company (USAA) and they recommended Superior One Roofing. I?m very pleased that I decided to use this company to replace my roof. They were very professional from start to finish. They came out to view my roof the same day I called my insurance adjustor and it was on a Sunday evening. The estimate was completed in a timely manner and submitted
to USAA. Within 2 weeks it was approved and I scheduled the install date. I talked with Chris and he was very professional and did everything promised plus more. Without using a pressure sell technique he recommended and used higher quality products that made my roof look outstanding and is the best looking in the neighborhood. The value of their service and quality of products are definitely worth every penny. Also, they had crew of 7+ workers that finished my entire roof in one day. I have seen others in my neighborhood taking about 2+ days to finish the work. I went to work came home and had a new roof. You can?t beat that! Not to mention my yard is spotless. There are no nails, shingles or tarp anywhere. Also, they are very customer service oriented and want to ensure you are 100% completely satisfied. I noticed two of my circular vent caps didn?t get replaced and when I notified Chris he had someone come out the next day to replace them with no hassle. He also noticed some overspray from the paint on the shingles and had them replaced. I?m so happy I went with Superior One Roofing and I?ll definitely use them again. The last thing I wanted to comment on is their great warranty they offer at a minimal price. I highly recommend it.

Very easy to work with!  My insurance company recommended Superior One after a hail storm, and it's been as painless as home repair can be.  They were here when they said they would be, finished on time, cleaned up,  answered all of my questions, provided information on the materials used, and responded quickly to phone calls.  They even returned phone calls on Sunday morning.  They patched holes in our vents--and in our neighbor's vents, even though they had decided to go with another company, at no cost.  We worked specifically with Clayton, who was terrific.  No hard sell, which I really appreciated. I would definitely use this company again. They may not be the cheapest, but you get what you pay for. Generally a nice bunch of folks to work with.

The roof on my home was damaged by hail. I got an estimate from my insurance company which indicated what they would pay to replace the roof of my home. I contacted Superior One Roofing and got a contract indicating in detail the work they would provide, the materials they would provide, the landscape and property protection they would provide while doing the work, and the debris removal and clean up they would provide. The contract also indicated an install date and the charge for replacing the roof.
The estimate from the insurance company had a few items missing that needed to be replaced. Superior One Roofing took care of all the communication with the insurance company to resolve the issues with the missing items. I feel that high quality products were used to replace my roof. I also feel they provided quality work. The roof was replaced when they said they would do the work and for the amount they said they would do the roof replacement for. The people from Superior One Roofing I worked with treated me in a respectful and professional manner.

Trish and Chip Moore put together a very detailed estimate to replace our badly worn and damaged wood shake roof.  They submitted it to our insurance company with numerous photos.  Trish diligently worked with us and the insurance company to get our entire roof replaced.  She took care of all of the paperwork for the insurance company and mortgage company.  She was extremely thorough and accurate.  Chip and Trish had a detailed estimate that they presented to us and great explanations of the materials and process for replacing our roof.  They immediately scheduled our work and were there when they said they would be. Trish and Chip were on site for the entire project.  Chip kept us updated throughout the process and was quick to address our questions and requests.  Our property was well taken care of and cleaned up as if they had not been there. We are extremely happy with our new roof.  We highly recommend Superior One Roofing.  Trish and Chip Moore are great people who do what they say they are going to do and we appreciated them very much.
