Been using Rangel for about 7 years and they have kept my heat pump going until this past Christmas holiday. My Trane heat pump was 18 years old and finally bit the dust. I can't say enough for the fair price and professional installation that Rangel provided when installing my new Trans heat pump system. From customer service provided by Monica to the Install provided by Alex and Jesus it has been a pleasure to do business with Rangel. They made sure the floors were protected when installing the indoor unit and once completed they do a complete check of the system. I will hope to get 18 years out of this new Trans system and will for sure use Rangel to do the maintenance tune up every 6 months.

Have used Rangel for several years for spring and fall maintenance for two units. Generally went well though I did not appreciate the “travel” fee. One year a freon leak was detected in one unit which was topped off but somehow disappeared the next year. Real problems started when I replace a unit with a new Träne 13 Seer and coils. This new unit has been trouble since being installed in 2013. Compressor failed and had to be replaced. Then they failed to put the blanket on it to keep the noise down and had to come back out. Followed by a cracked pan, which I was told by another company was probably due to a screw being torqued too tightly. At one point one of his assistants came out to address yet another problem, he was clueless and I had to reschedule for Mr. Rangel to come out. Now the coils are not cooling properly and have to be replaced. Total cost is almost $1,400 in labor. Thank goodness I did sign up for the extended warranty which at least covers the parts. Considering this unit is just over 5 years old and considering that it has required multiple expensive repairs, I would have hoped that Rangel would have offered to work with me on the labor cost and perhaps even offered a discount. Nope, he estimated the same labor as two other companies that are working with the parts warranty. At this point, considering all the problems this unit has had since the installation, i no longer trust Rangel’s work and follow up and will no longer use this company.

Both of our HVAC systems were over 21 years old and in need of replacement. I had quotes from several companies but choose Rangel because of a fair price and straight talk. Carlos discussed my options and the pros and cons of each of the high efficiency systems that were available. We ended up going with two 16 SEER systems. Rangel's crews were considerate and clean.

I contacted Rangel A/C, and Alex came over to my house very promptly. He quickly diagnosed what was wrong (a bad capacitor), showed me how he could tell, checked the other parts while he was here to make sure nothing else was wrong, fixed it with a spare part he had in his truck, and had our A/C back up and working less than an hour after I had first contacted him. He was both professional and friendly from beginning to end, and his prices were also quite reasonable. I was very impressed and will certainly use Rangel again.

It went great!  He was on time, very good value.  Did everything as promised.  Very clean.  I would definitely call him again.
