I don't even know where to start with all of the bad things this place has put me through. I did even know that I was paying for pest control for the first year and half, until I was bitten by a spider and had to go to the doctor since my foot turned black. I also had to get an MRI. At that point I started to read what I was paying for. That's when I found out that I was paying for a service that I had never received. There was a broken pipe in the wall, and whenever the neighbor or anyone upstairs took a shower or flushed the toilet, my apartment bathroom got flooded. I didn't think to look for the leak in a closet, but it was in a back closet. Everything on the closet floor had been destroyed. I had damage to a bunch of clothing, a new keyboard, a fax machine and film, among various other things that included picture of my late husband and soon. Thankfully, my children's birth certificates and college diploma were on a shelf. I don't know where they are coming up with the numbers for our water bill, but I know that I don't use 70 to 80 dollars worth of water. At least 2 to 3 times a month they shut the water off anyway. At that same time we got bed bugs. I had to throw away two twin beds and all the clothing in the closet. The only thing I have left in my apartment now is my living room set. I had the management sign a paper stating that they would replace all of the damaged items. Since then, we have had new management move in their place, and they aren't honoring the previous agreement. Now the are charging us $40 dollars for background checks. Also, they sent me an insulting renewal reminder that stated they were going raise the rent. They later gave me a "special offer" to renew at my current rate. If they think I that I still want to live here, they are crazy. Even after treatment, the bedbugs have returned and I'm currently killing another one right now. Make sure you stay away from this place!
