Fantastic experience - Mel does the work as if it's his own house.  The job was completed in the time frame he originally stated.  He arrived every day on time and never missed a day.  He cleaned up every single day so the house was not a mess each evening.  He pointed out to us any potential issues  and made recommendations, but never proceeded with anything until we gave approval.  We have had 2 bad experiences with general contractors, but Mel completely restored my faith, and I will without a doubt use his services again when the need arises.  I highly recommend him.

I can't write enough positive things about DeMel ("Mel") Louviere / Louviere Construction Co.  4 years ago he was a subcontractor on a kitchen remodel in our house, my husband thought so much of his work that he collected his card for future use.  2 years later Mel came back and removed all the tile in our home, replaced it with wood flooring, custom made a built-in bookcase and painted - we were thrilled with the work.  And now another 2 years later he's completely remodeling our master bath and spiffing up our laundry room.  My husband is quite a handy man himself, so his expectations are HIGH.  The greatest compliment that I can give Mel is that any work he does in your home is of the quality that he would do in his own.  My father has a saying about lazy contractors..."can't see it from my house".  Mel is exactly the opposite.  He does all the work himself along with one or two other helpers (who have been with him for years).  He's never absent from the job.  He arrives on time EVERYDAY AND CLEANS UP EVERY AFTERNOON!  The work is nothing less than perfect.  He does not accept anything less.  Every promise and commitment he makes, he keeps.
