I contacted Amy several months before the date of the reception. She came over looked at our place, looked at the pinned pinterest site of some ideas and said..."absolutely, I can do that" AND SHE DID!! Amy is a pleasure to work with...she came up with some additional ideas that were fabulous. Michael and Amy worked endlessly and tirelessly on lights, electrical fixes, even a deck to cover half of the pool. There were lights in trees that were twenty feet tall, lights hanging like a tree forest which by the way was the hit of the party. They draped lights around the fence, across the backyard. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a "bright" energetic young lady with terrific ideas and pricing.
I hope to be on her schedule for the Holiday Season!

"After extensively searching my records, I was unable to locate your information. Are you sure you didn't get the wrong company? If you could message me your phone number I would like to search my phone records just to double check, but as of now I have no customer record of you. If we had done your lights we certainly would have come back to take them down, as that is one of my biggest pet peeves, leaving lights up is NOT something we do. I've used Amy for the last 3 years. She has been responsive and done a great job lighting our home for the holidays.
I like the LED lights that she uses which don't affect my utility bills as much.
When lights have gone out, they are prompt to come and replace the bulbs.
Overall I am pleased with the work they have done and will continue to use their service.

Installer came out and only installed lights on house, not the trees. Informed they "ran out of lights" and would charge me another 25% to finish from the estimate. Demanded that the rest of the lights quoted be installed.
On day of installation, neighbor was having her lights installed, the guy quoted me 1/3 of the price that I ended up paying. He will get my business next year.

"First let me just clarify that the entire front of the home is covered by trees, which made it nearly impossible to give an ESTIMATE. I made sure to let you know that in the initial emails. We installed lights on the front as well as on the sides which were as long if not longer than the front. The estimate CLEARLY states that it is just that, an estimate NOT a quote. With the roofline of the house being completely obstructed there would be no way to tell exactly how many lights were needed or how the slope on the roof was, which plays a large part in the price of installation. After installing lights on the roof, I contacted you to let you know that we had reached the amount that was estimated and we did not want to go ahead with more lights without your approval at which time you sent me an email calling me a criminal and demanding that we come back to light the trees which we did at no additional charge to you. I hope that you are able to get what you want and pay the price that you feel is fair."

Decorations were not as good as 2012, but was charged the same. Severe weather did impact installation which was stretched out over a week. I had to call to get installation completed after owner was told job was completed by installer. I will give them one more chance next year in hope that they will make amends for this year.

Actually if you will remember, in 2012 you were given a deal that had been offered for a very short period of time after it had expired the deal was a $700 package for $500. We honored it for you because you found us on Angie's list. I will take responsibility for the lack of communication between my installer and myself, but I was not aware at all that you were not happy with the finished product. If you had mentioned it when we were there finishing the job we could have done what we could to fix it. Please also keep in mind that each time we came out your entire yard as well as the driveway was a sheet of ice. The gutters were completely full of ice, and there were 3ft mounds of ice in the landscaping which made it extremely difficult to install any lights without taking extra time and effort to chip the ice out of the gutters and away from the ground where any lights or cords would be in order to safely conceal them. We thought the lights looked great and as a matter of fact I had even used a photo of this years installation on my Facebook page and people thought it was lovely. We only want for you to be happy with our work but we can not change something if we don't know that you are unhappy with it. Please don't hesitate to let us know what we need to do different in the future to ensure that you are getting what you want. Thank you, Amy Hamilton"

It went perfectly. I've used Amy now for over 5 years. I think I wrote the very first Angie's List review for her many years ago. I felt compelled to write another one this year because Amy has NEVER disappointed. As the years go ln her service and quality continue to be outstanding. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND HER.

Amy provides an excellent service, fairly priced and is very professional. I am not one for long winded explanations, so I will just say that I was MORE than happy with my beautiful Christmas lights. Amy decided what should go on the house (I left it to her and her expertise) - the outcome was perfect. Amy (the owner) actually shows up for the light installation, along with her installers.
Since she is personally overseeing the installation - the installation was near perfect.
They worked until way past dark - and when she left she even gave my dog a bag of treats!
This is a family owned business that obviously takes alot of pride in their work product. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone!
I suggest you contact her early next year (before November) because she will be filling all her available slots pretty quick (yes she is that good) . I contacted her in October and I think that was almost too late.

I sent Amy an email with my request. She quickly responded and have me a quote. She was very accommodating with our schedule. The lights looked great and it was overall a great experience. We had trouble with other lighting groups in years past who did not promptly return to take down the lights but this was not the case with Amy.

If you're thinking of finding a company to do your holiday lighting, I can't recommend Amy highly enough.
Like one of the other reviewers, Amy talked to me about LED lighting. It's more expensive (one-time cost for the lights), but they will last longer, and I'll make it up on electricity savings. She was able to use a WARM white, rather than the bright white that LEDs usually are. Even though I have a small cottage, we decided on C9s.
She was, and is, very responsive (I've asked to purchase additional LED C9s for my back yard, where I've been using regular C9s... many have gone out).
She's just a great resource, which is terrific value-add, for my questions about these things.They guarantee the lights. If one goes out during the season, they will come to replace it. Her crew was completely professional; they showed up on time and did the work easily and professionally.
The lights are dark-activated, and I just have to set the timer for the number of hours I want each night. So, for example, it may become dark at 5:30, the lights will go on and will stay on for 6 hours... until the next time they are activated by the evening light!

Amy and her crew gave us a very fair estimate to purchase, install and remove Christmas lights around the roofline of our home. Amy recommended LED lights as they are far superior and last 10x longer than regular lightbulbs and use a fraction of the energy. We were very pleased with Amy's punctuality, professionalism and quality and will likely use them again every holiday season that we're in this home.

I contacted Amy by e-mail and we exchanged messages and worked out what we needed. She was very responsive and I received an e-mail reply in a few hours. Amy gave us a rough estimate. She and her crew were a bit late, but informed us that they were running late. It too 3 hours to complete the job. It was done neatly and the crew were professional. Based ion what we have paid in the past, this was great value for money. Amy and her time were wonderful to work with. This was clearly a very superior experience for us. I am happy to give Amy my strongest possible recommendation!

It went great. They were very responsive to my initial email and provided an estimate based on a picture I sent of my house. They came out when they said and completed the job when they said despite horrible weather. I highly recommend them.
