Gomez Legacy

Did an excellent job. They moved and covered furniture, removed popcorn ceiling and an excellent job completing project. Was the second house I used them for and will use them on a third job soon.

Working with Gomez Legacy was a great experience. They are very detail oriented. They take the time to prep in order to deliver a superb product. I didnâ t have to worry about there being a mess after the job was done, as they made sure to cover everything to avoid dust and overspray. After using them to paint the exterior of my home, it was an easy decision to use them for interior work as well. I highly recommend this company. You will not be disappointed.

Quality affordable

I paid for the entire house of my new home to be painted, popcorn ceiling removed, front door painted and baseboards painted. The quality was horrible! But because this company presents itself as a faith-based organization I was very patient in allowing them to take their time in coming back to fix the issues and correct the many glaring mistakes after the first pass at the job was done. I had had paid the full amount of the $12K of my contract by the time Gina (the administrator of the business) came to do a walk-though to personally see the issues that were still unfixed. Gina and her husband Reymundo (the painter) even took pictures of all the issues that needed to be completed and they pledged to come back to complete the work. They never even started to complete my garage, left one wall completely unpainted, did not remove light fixtures like they agreed to do to remove the popcorn ceilings were completely addressed, did not finish the baseboards, failed to remove the popcorn ceiling in the pantry, and so much more! And I have pictures of all of it and one of their sign that I allowed them to post in my yard to prove it. This was now 5 months ago! They now ignore my calls and messages so I have now hired an attorney and am planning to sue the Gomez Legacy in court for damages. Do not be fooled. These people are the definition of unjust people who will take your money and run!

Great service and very responsive to get the job done in a very professional and clean manner.

We bought a little house in Irving that needed its 1980's paint colors freshened up. The real-estate company's recommended painter was too expensive. I checked out HomeAdvisor and Gina at Gomez Legacy was the first to respond. Working with Gina and Reymundo was great. They made suggestions for type of paint and color to brighten the place up. We had baseboards, walls, crown molding, doors & trim and ceilings done. The results are great and now the house looks bright and fresh. Reymundo also painted the pantry and laundry room which was an unexpected bonus. Reymundo takes such pride in his work that he even did the HVAC registers in the ceilings because he thought they looked dingy against the new ceiling. Take note: when you are having the whole interior painted its best to leave for a few days and let them do their work because there is a lot of activity going on. All floors, counters, cabinets and anything not being painted gets covered in paper or plastic sheets and all light fixtures are removed before the painting. Not a problem for us as we were changing all the light fixtures anyway and Reymundo taking them down saved me some work. Apparently one of our window blinds came apart as Reymundo was taking it down. It came with the house, I don't know if it may already have been broken but Reymundo took responsibility and replaced it with a new one before our quality inspection. These folks are great, hard working and honest. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again.

Reymundo s work was excellent. He was pleasant, very professional, prompt, and finished the job when and as promised.

Good app

The two young men that came to do the work were neat and clean with the work they did. I had them fix a ceiling that I had already had repaired. I was so disappointed with the last repair that I didn t even tell them it was awful, I just wanted them to go. Legacy Gomez came in and made it all look like new! I am so pleased with the work and would definitely recommend them or hire them again.

Gina and Raymundo was wonderful to work with, Gina called me right away and was able to come down the very next day to give us an estimate, she called and was on top of it throughout the process, they started on time and finished ahead of schedule! Raymundo was on time everyday during the project, and did his best to keep the work area clean/ moving things/ covering things, even swept at the end of each day! Very happy with the work they did at our home and will recommend to everyone!
