Flowers of Las Colinas

Horribly My mother ordered flowers for my birthday from this shop. She specifically requested that they be delivered before 3pm because that's when I leave work. I booked a hotel for a staycation during my birthday weekend. So I wanted to beat traffic. I had a lot to do before checking in. I left work at 3:10. My mother called me and asked me if I received flowers from her and my dad. I said No and I had left work already. Being that I left before the flowers came, I had to go back to work and wait. The flowers came at 3:25 or so. Now all of the school zones are on and the buses are dropping off children. I WAS STUCK ON THE SAME ROAD FOR 20 MINS. I called the flower shop and told them about the EXTREME INCONVENIENCE AND HOW IT'S RUINING MY BIRTHDAY! !!! I was offered a discount on a future order! Get outta here I would never order anything from them again. DON'T SAY SAME DAY DELIVER AND STATE YOU CAN DELIVER SOMETHING AT A CERTAIN TIME IF YOU CAN'T! !! After everything was over my whole day was spent in traffic. I had a lot of driving to do and tried to leave to beat traffic but this raggedy florist messed that up. Thanks for nothing!!!!!

I called the florist because I thought they would want to know about an issue with the card that was attached to the plant I received; however, I was wrong. I first stated that the plant that was sent for my father-in-law?s funeral was beautiful; however, the card that was computer generated was a little messed up. There was spacing in the middle of words in three areas. My thought? Oh, this is an easy fix. Just go into the program and make changes so it doesn?t happen again. The employee was not willing to take my complaint because she said they did not control the program that generates these cards. I then stated, ?If I owned a business I would want control over anything that had my name on it.? To which she said, ?If I received flowers I would just enjoy them instead of finding complaints.? Very unprofessional! As you can imagine, I hung up in disgust. I wanted/want nothing in return; only to let them know about this glitch. I have written a formal complaint to the company. I will post a follow-up if I hear from them.
