Dr. Move

I have used Dr. Move five times in the past.  After this sixth time, I will not every use them again or refer them to a friend (something I have done in the past).  I have always had more items to move than what was on my inventory.  I viewed the inventory as a guestimate.  In the past, my movers have been extremely friendly, helpful, and always moved the extra items.  Again, this was how it was the previous five times I had used Dr. Move.  This time, the movers came up to the apartment and refused to move anything that wasn't on the inventory.  AFTER moving one queen bed, they told me that they would have to charge me extra because it wasn't properly added on the inventory.  The inventory said "queen bed," which apparently only means mattress even though there is no distinction when you fill out your inventory online.  So, I called the manager, explained the issue, told him that I was a sixth time returning customer who had NEVER had an issue with moving a bed (remember, I had filled out the inventory the same way I had in the past), and he wouldn't budge.  In the end, the movers were either going to move my bed back up the stairs and not take it to the house, or charge me an extra $60 to move two queen beds THAT WERE ALREADY ON THE INVENTORY!  Also, I had always paid the remaining balance in cash because you pay 5% extra if you pay the balance with a credit card.  That is stated very clearly on the forms.  Well, the mover started asking me for my credit card number, and when I asked him why, it was so he could charge my card for the balance.  I said, "No, I'm paying in cash.  I have always paid in cash.  I'm not paying extra for charging it on my credit card."  He said that my card may have been charged already.  So, I had to call the manager again.  I got him right before he was going to charge my card.  I told him I was paying in cash and he was not authorized to charge my card.  Disaster.  During the move, the movers were really rough with our stuff.  After everything was in the house, we saw that our washer was scratched all over the front, both cribs had scratches and chunks gouged out, my dresser had a huge crack at the bottom that they "fixed" with moving tape, and our bookcases had scratches and dents in them as well.  
I hate writing this type of review because our movers had moments of compassion.  When they realized a crib wasn't going to fit, one of the guys unscrewed the front section, fit it in the room, and reassembled it.  That was above and beyond.  However, I absolutely will not use this moving company again if I have to move.  We plan to file claims on damaged goods.
