They came the same day even tho I told them it was no hurry. Very professional, knowledgeable & cleaned up their work area. They know their stuff & I would feel comfortable w/any job they do. I was just disappointed w/the cost of $200 on a weekday, during work hours & nonemergency to basically change a lightbulb that I couldn’t reach. Their fee schedule is just higher than others. I get it in this economy but a retiree on a fixed income, I found it high.

They advised us to not repair the fridge because the repairs on our fairly new fridge would be unreliable. They inspected thoroughly and arrived promptly. We found them trustworthy and skilled.

repair was satisfactory. Tech arrived 2 hrs late but explained that he had trouble getting part due to limited admittance at parts store due to corona virus crowd procedure. I didn't think about it at the time but I also was not offered the senior or veterans discount.

I requested a microwave inspection and also provided my model# details to American Air told them very clearly that my microwave will need a hinge replacement as it is not shutting down. They send the technician who just came and searched for the hinge online and was not able to get it and advised me to replace the microwave. Why did the technician not do an online search since I provided my microwave model#. I am extremely dissatisfied and want full refund back from American Air.

"We completely understand your frustration. However, as per our company policy we do not refund service calls. But for the specific appliance repair you requested, a microwave hinge repair/replacement, we first had to inspect the microwave to verify that the hinge could be repaired or replaced, because the whole door may have needed to be replaced, dependent upon the extent of the damage. After assessing the extent of damage and determining what repairs were needed our tech is then able to look up parts available in the area, and from there provide an estimate for the total repair costs. Unfortunately with your specific model, the parts we needed to fix your microwave are not longer available. The $75 service call fee, as we explained before coming to your property, is a base fee that does not change. It covers the cost we pay Angie's List for your lead, drive time/gas, the cost of paying a tech to go out there, diagnostics, any minor repairs we are able to provide, as well as an estimate for further repair costs. So we will be unable to provide a refund because we provided diagnostics, had we been able to locate the necessary parts to fix your microwave, we would have provided an estimate for repairs. Your specific microwave is built in over the oven, so most repairs are worth paying for because the cost to replace a built in microwave is a two man, several hundred dollar job. If we had been able to repair your microwave we would have. We are very sorry to hear that you were dissatisfied with your level of service provided under that $75, but we did provide a service, and we are a business, and realistically we can not solve every repair for every customer, every time. I am very sorry you are unhappy with the end result, but we provide excellent service throughout the positive and negative experiences. We stand by our tech and we know he provided the best level of service he could have in these circumstances."

It could not have gone better! They were able to come out quickly, identify the problem, get the part, and fixed it the next morning at 8:30 AM. They were knowledgeable about Sub Zero, very professional, and explained everything well. I will use them again next time.

Very responsive. First called American Air Customs in 2010 when AC in one area of house went out. Had recently replaced the coil for another unit in house. Thought another one had failed. They quickly diagnosed a loose wire as the cause....not another coil. 3 years later, they were my first call. Out the next day and replaced within a week. The day after their visit, our 3rd and final unit started blowing hot air. Thought we were going to have to replace another coil. Called them on Friday and Greg got on the phone with me. Quickly found out it was the breaker on the side of the house and we were back in business.
The reason we use American Air-Customs goes beyond the great work they do, it is all about trust in a business where the customer many times can be taken advantage of.

Dan was the technician and owner of the company. He fixed a leak I had in my air conditioner drain line. He responded quickly to my call. He told me over the phone what information he needed. I send him a photo of the problem area. He located the part. He called back and give he a quote. And the rest is history. He came to my apartment in a timely manner, fixed the problem and that was it. Very efficient

Our A/C had not been working well. The serviceman showed me how to tell when it is low on coolant (which it was) and added coolant. Our unit was also very dirty (we have lots of cottonwood trees in the area), and he cleaned it. Unit worked much better afterwards.

I have used them at least 5 times and have always been extremely happy. I called them on July 29 with the original problem. They came out same day, within 2 hours (a weekday). Cleaned the condenser coils and charged me $75.00. Very polite and professional. The problem remained. I called them on Aug. 31, another weekday. They came out within 4 hours and replaced the condenser. They only charged me for the condenser, no labor charge, since they had been out previously. I can't downgrade them for missing the problem the first time because they were so friendly and professional plus they initiated the no labor charge on Aug. 31. I did not have to complain or ask for it.
