We are still waiting for a call back from Tony to find out how to proceed with exercising the warranty. This is unacceptable.

Overall, it was a nightmare. I do not recommend All Pro. The sales people and installers were all professional, the owner was the opposite.
The installation of the piers caused an elusive leak in the sewer line and none of the leak detector people could locate it for several weeks. One location was suspected and penetrated through the slab, but was not the leak location. This all took weeks and money. Finally, a very good plumber on about his forth visit out to the house was able to pinpoint the location. Repairs were made digging under the house for about $4,000. Again, weeks and money.
Here's the reason for the bad review on All Pro: I called and later wrote a detailed timeline letter informing All Pro about the elusiveness of the leak and the unavoidable delays and costs, and that repairing the leak within the 30 day contract limit to keep the "warranty" was impossible.  Result: the owner was unsympathetic, arrogant, acusatory and resorted to yelling and screaming at me on the phone. He made it clear that he was not hired to "fix" my foundation problems, but only contracted to install piers per an engineers report. My only request was relief on the 30 day clause for fixing the leak caused from lifting the house. I regret using this company and will not ever deal with this owner again.

They work they did was fine. But if you want a warranty from All-Pro, get your plumbing leak-tested (and repaired) BEFORE you fix the foundation. If you live in an old house, it probably has some cast-iron pipes and they probably leak. All-Pro's contract stipulates that you must pass a leak test and have any leaks repaired within 30 days after they finish. That's 30 days to get the system tested, hire a second company to locate the leaks, get bids from plumbers to repair the leaks, pick one to do the work, get the work done and get the system retested. Thirty days. If you dawdle, no warranty. Doesn't apparently matter where in the house the leaks were or how bad they were. They tell you this in a form letter and include a copy of the contract you signed with your signature highlighted in yellow in case you forgot what your signature looks like. This lesson cost me more than $3,000. If you've read this far, you've gotten it for free.

My experience with them was excellent.  They were good people.  The communication was outstanding.  I’m an engineer too and so we talked in our own language I guess.  It was easy for me to understand because I had a lot of questions and they answered every question.  3.37 to 3.39.  They told me exactly what they were going to do.  I told them where the problems were and showed them, and then they took a bunch of measurements and told what they had to do.  They recommended and gave me different options.  They were very thorough.  Their price was reasonable.  It can always be cheaper but probably not.  They were comparative than the other companies.  They went over board because it was a short notice.  I would absolutely use them again in the future if I needed to.  I wouldn’t even hesitate.

The work took two hours to complete and was completed by four or five guys plus the supervisor.  They came in and jacked the house up and put the piers in, fixed the foundation, cleaned up and were gone.  They gave recommendations on other work to be done.  I was impressed because I thought it would be an all day thing.  It was less expensive than I thought and were very conscientious of my time.  they gave me the pros and cons of what they were doing and discussed what could happen with jacking the house.  They kept me in the loop.  I'd tell my friends that they are professional and very fast and they left the area how they found it or even better.

All-Pro installed 10 pressed pilings in the front of my house and a root barrier between the tree and the house. They arrived on time and completed the work in about 5 hours. The cost included $500.00 for the Engineers Report. I have no problem with the installation work.
Where I have some concerns is with the process and paperwork. The engineer came and basically agreed with the initial recommendations of All-Pro. After the work was completed and the plumber did his inspection to be sure there were no leaks in the incoming or outgoing pipes I received a final report from the Engineer. The report stated that piers have been placed in accordance with the underpinning plan prepared by the engineer and that the piers have been properly installed..... Since the Engineer was not present when the piers were installed nor did he return to verify that all the piers were installed in the proper places, how can he state it was done properly? The engineer then goes on to state that he has no liability for acts of omissions by the contractor or his subcontractors performing the work.

I had four companies come out and give me estimates.  They were are pretty similar but I felt that the All-Pro guys had more information and understanding about the whole process.  After getting my quote I had a called back with a couple other questions and they were always very quick to reply.   They scheduled the repair, then called a couple days before to confirm the date and time.   They arrived on time, I got them started and left for work.  I asked them to call me an hour before they finished, so I could check it out before they left.  They did call and when I arrived everything was looking good, but I was a little concerned with one of the root barriers that was put in.  I thought it was too close to the house, I talked to the guys onsite and also to another guy on the phone.  They both said that they thought it was an okay placement, but since if I wanted they would add another one a few feet back.  They did this without any complaints, I never had to get upset or angry.  It was a very easy simple process.  I would definitely recommend them.

Wow!  Talk about fair and honest.  We called yesterday asking for an estimate on foundation repair.  We were given a 9am appointment for today.  A little before 9am, Jeff was at our door (which was open).  It was raining a bit and Jeff removed his shoes before entering the house.  I showed him areas of concern at the back drive and he informed me that the driveway was cracking due to a large tree and that was really not the concern of the foundation.  He then asked if there were areas within the hose.  I showed him some noticable cracks in the wall, he took some measurements and went outside to look around the house.  After some investigation, he informed my wife and I that we really did not need any foundation work.  He carefully explaied to us that what did need was better drainage away from the house.  He further explained that natural settlement and expansion occurs which would cause the outer edges of the structure to rise and fall and that could cause the cracks.  He recommeded a drainage expert and also said we should probably have a test of the pipes since there may be some leakage.
He was very thorough and patient in his explanations to us two novices.  Oh, did I mention that Jeff works on commission?!  He said there were plenty of houses in North Texas that needed their service and he did not need to sell that service to those who did not need it.  Talk about honest and forthritght.  I will never hesitate to reccommend All-Pro and Jeff at any opportunity that I can.  Thank you Jeff and thank you Angie's List for listing them.

Some of the repair had to be taken care of inside the house. That was dramatic. You don't usually have that amount of dirt in your living room. But, when all was completed, everything was back to normal.

Biggest complaint is every shrub they removed died.  After pulling the shrubs to replace, it's no wonder...there were ZERO roots left..  I wish they would just tell you up front that they will die and plan on replacing them.  Replanting them (after they cut the roots to the size of your fist) is a joke.  A few problems with cracked sprinkler lines, and piling excess dirt against the foundation without regard to the fact that there were sprinklerheads there, which are now buried under 1' of dirt that need to be dug up and replaced.

Our biggest complaint was the loss of several bushes around the foundation due to the way they were removed, cutting off most of the roots.  The installation of the piers and the leveling of the house appears to have been performed adequately, although we were told that they could not raise the low part enough to close all the cracks that had occurred.  If we had been told that there would be no effort to remove the shrubs so that they would survive, we would have had someone else transplant the plants before the foundation work started.  Our complaints were met with a "That's not in our contract" attitude, which is literally correct, but contradicted what we were told by the salesperson.  Be aware that they make no effort to save plants in the way or put dirt back into the holes they dig in the manner it was removed.  The good topsoil was put in the bottoms of the holes, and the gummy clay went in last.  We just hope the foundation repair turns out to be more effective than the survival of the plants they stuck back in the ground after they were done.

Very happy with the job.  The soft spots throughout the house are sturdy again, and the sagging spots in the home have been raised up to a normal level (It's almost 100 years old so it will never be 100% level) there were no plumbing issues caused by the foundation repair and we will use All Pro again in the future.  Rex was great, very professional.

All-Pro came out to give us an estimate on the work our foundation needed. They arrived on time and were detailed on what was needed to repair our foundation and explained the process to us. An engineer was sent out to assess the repair work needed. He detailed in a drawing how many piers were required and where. All-Pro showed up on time to start the work and the forman walked the job down with me before they started. He showed my what shrubs they would have to remove. The work went very smoothly and quickly. Once the work was complete we walked down the job to make sure everything was cleaned up and to our satisifaction. I would definetly recommend All-Pro for your foundation needs.
