Mike Laye was there sales rep and he misrepresented many of the items he said the security system could and would be able to do.   We tentatively agreed for an installation the following Tuesday,     The following day I got two voicemail calls from 800-238-2727 asking to set up an appointment for installation.   On Tuesday, the installers showed up.   The installers went into the house and began looking around with just an elderly woman in a bathrobe home.   I asked the sales man to tell his people to leave, they left hours later.   I can't tell you how angry I am that they let themselves in past this eldery woman after I asked them to leave and Mike Laye knew the situation and did not help correct the problem.  I felt he just wanted that sale.    The workers came back again a week later and I was there.    The system was not working when they left.   They left some of their trash in the bed room left over from their lunch.   They pointed the cameras at the ground, and when it is night time, we have a nice view of a spot of grass.   They did ask if I wanted to move the cameras before they left, and I trusted they knew what they were doing, but it's a small spot of grass on three sides of the house.   It's not the at all what the salesman said it would be.   SInce the installers left, ADT has called at least three times a day.   It's a different person each time wanting to run the same test on the alarm and indicating its not working.   I finally called to have the system removed, enough is enough, and of course it will cost a great deal to cancel the agreement, but I am tempted to do so.   What is good is protecting the home with a system that doesn't work and having the security company continuously harass you with calls and never offer to fix it.   It's been 10 days since the system was installed and I want all who read this to know ADT is not good or considerate of the situation they are there to help, but more interested in locking you down in a heavy handed agreement and making a big sales. They have several different operators that do not communicate with each other.

There was no bad. They were extremely friendly. The monthly charge is totally reasonable. I would definitely use them in the future.

The alarm has been in my mother's house for several years.   The service has been satisfactory.  
I cancelled the service on Sept 9 because my mother had moved.    The company drafted her account again on Sept 25, $32.46.  I called about that charge on Sept 30.  The company refunded only $18.84 on Oct 16.   When I complained about not getting the full refund they said their records showed they did not get all the paperwork until Sept 30.   That is not true.    Sept 30 is just the day I called to complain the first time.   They had all the paperwork.   They refused to refund the money they drafted for Sept 9 to Sept 30.

ADT is just fine to us. They are not a pain. They do what they have to do. They bill us correctly. They are organized and good about sending us data and paperwork, as we need it. We are very happy with this company, I am glad to say.

THEY SENT OUT A GUY TO GO OVER THE CONTRACT WITH ME. HE WAS VERY PROFESSIONAL AND ON TIME. THEY LATER ACTIVATED AND ARE NOW MONITORING MY SYSTEM. THERE WAS A THREE OR FOUR DAY WAIT TO GET EVERYTHING STARTED.
